Do you need an Elopement Strategy for your Wedding?

I divide my time between London and Berlin- two awesome major cities where romance and history are strongly featured and Elopements are becoming more frequent!

However, most of the couples who contact me are still looking for a traditional if also modern awesome wedding filled with friends and family and pour masses of time and love into planning all the personal touches, but then find that everyone has an opinion, wants to make suggestions, begins questioning your choices, and generally making you wonder whether you will ever be able to please everyone and still have the wedding you dreamed of.

For all who are stressing or about to stress- let me help you!!!   I am delighted to share some wise words from a fabulous Celebrant who writes the amazing Engaged and Ready blog ! It’s all about how to use an elopement strategy for your own wedding so that you have the wedding ceremony you have always dreamed of, not the one which your parents, family or friends, think you SHOULD have!  Staying focussed on your own ideas and plans is hard when there is just so much “noise” going on around you, and sometimes for various reasons, you will feel the pressure builds and you just give in – perhaps just for the sake of the peace, or because someone else holds the purse strings, or other reasons…. whatever it is, your Wedding is your business, no-one else’s, and  by having a strategy and planning like an Eloper would, you’ll find the strength, the support and the persistence, so that it really is Your Day, Your Way!
