Kate and Peppy – A “Big Love” Celebration!

So my role as a Celebrant means my “office” is really wherever my couple’s decide to hold their ceremony!  And that’s absolutely awesome!  I have been trawling through some of my favourite images, and this couple really did make my heart beat faster! So I wanted to update the blog and talk a little more about their wonderful wedding ceremony, and hope there’s a bit of inspiration for you there too!

Truth is I really do love creating and conducting ceremonies for couples, and this couple were no exception!  Although they were not based in the UK Kate and Peppy decided to have a “global” ceremony in London.  They chose a fabulous wedding planner, Emma from Something Blue, and due to her magical planning and sourcing skills, we held the ceremony on the rooftop of a fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Soho, in London’s wonderful and historic West End!  They are an international and multicultural couple,  so over 70 close family and friends from all over the world came to celebrate with Kate and Peppy, in this lovely location.

Ham Yard Hotel is simply stunning, and so much fun too – it was perfect for this relaxed, laid back, fun couple, with a great  party vibe, and even have  their own bowling lanes – offering lots of fun for guests after the reception, which was awesome too, with wonderful food, cocktails and drinks on the rooftop garden area.

Adorably, Kate and Peppy read their own vows to each other – I always love it when a couple keeps this moment a secret surprise. The tenderness and love can be felt by all of us witnessing such a beautiful moment.  Their full wedding ceremony was blogged by the fantastic Rock My Wedding Team and can be viewed here

I loved every minute that I spent with this lovely couple who have agreed I can use their video (created by the wonderful cupcakevideos.co.uk) and hope you enjoy watching a few moments of “my day at the office” !!  Photos by We Are//The Clarkes
