I have been so disappointed lately to read news that,  in a world where love should be celebrated freely, many LGBTQIA+ couples are facing uncertainty about their right to marry.  Many of my couples are from the USA and it has been a real joy and pleasure to meet such amazing, kind, tolerant and tender hearted people.  It is not usual for me to single out any community, because as the song goes, “we’re only human after all”.

If you’re looking for a legal wedding outside of the United States, these countries provide a beautiful and secure alternative.  It might take a little more effort, with notaries and translations, but it is possible.  Check with your own local Embassy on the requirements, and decide whether this fits with you both.
