Thank you all so much, and for your kind words on Google Business and on Facebook

WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS IN 2025!!

STEPHANIE💕 BRENT,  VILLA CETINALE, SIENA, ITALY

tuscan villa in Siena, villa cetinale is a wonderful exclusive wedding venue for ceremonies, flanked by Cypress trees, the three storied villa is made from ancient brick and marble local stone The architecture is Roman Baroque style.

Stephanie and Brent chose the stunning Tuscan Villa Cetinale, set in the hills near Siena, for their Wedding Celebrations!

With what was a very short timescale to create their Ceremony,  it was both a challenge and a labour of love to create a personal Ceremony for Stephanie and Brent that filled their hearts with happiness.

Surrounded by their families and loved ones, from Colombia and the USA, as well as guests from around the world, this was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, delight and was a personal “bucket list” dream realised.

I was introduced by Stephanie’s wedding planner,  Kristina Kempton of London, and was delighted that I was available on the date they had chosen.

Stephanie was a dream to work with, with drafts of the ceremony flowing easily back and forth, and everything was managed carefully and timely, resulting in a wedding that went off without a hitch!

I was also delighted to remain with the wedding party afterwards as their Mistress of Ceremonies. I introduced their wonderful heartfelt Speeches,  the wonderful emotional moments too: the Father and Daughter Dance, Mother and Son Dance, and their own very special First Dance as a married couple.  Their beautiful tiered cake was cut, followed immediately by the most amazing Firework display!

It was a wedding that had everything:  family, friends, wonderful words of love, fabulous food and wine and the excitement of being in a very beautiful and special place.

I am so very grateful for the honour of creating their Ceremony and was very touched by these kind words from Stephanie :

If there is one person made for this, it is our dear Yvonne.

We could not have imaged a better outcome for this part of our wedding. Yvonne delivered what can be considered as an impeccable and impressive service during our ceremony; remaining warm, kind, and attentive to us and all who were present.

As a last minute request, we are so grateful to have had her take us on in such a short period of time, and grace us with a beautiful and authentic performance at the Tuscan Villa Cetinale.

We know in her we have gained a life long friend, and would recommend her to anyone looking to bring a touch of emotion and comfort to their wedding day.

With Love, Stephanie and Brent    (Google Review)

HELEN💕 RICHARD, SALZBURG, AUSTRIA

I was absolutely delighted to my core when Richard and Helen contacted me to create a ceremony in the city where Richard had proposed, and of course, this was another one of my “bucket list” venues.  When I arrived at the venue, the scene really did bring tears to my eyes, – this is the Sound of Music palace where the Count was living, and this terrace and garden was featured several times.  With the whole of the city of Salzburg in Sound of Music Fest mode – celebrating 60 years of the Film version and Julie Andrews’ 90th Birthday, it really felt like everyone was in a celebratory mood.

Helen and Richard held a pre wedding dinner in a local Austrian pub, but were both on good form on the day.  The clouds over the mountains in the distance had lifted by lunch time, and the sun was shining on their gorgeous October wedding day.

I think they like it too – their kind words afterwards mean so much!

As a couple from the UK holding our wedding in Austria, we’re so glad we found Yvonne online. From our first conversation she put us at ease, guiding us through the structure of a symbolic ceremony and explaining the different elements we could include.

We had several consultations, after which Yvonne prepared a draft ceremony that we could adapt and refine until it felt completely personal to us. The end result was a heartfelt, meaningful ceremony that truly reflected our personalities and our story together.

On the day, Yvonne delivered it with warmth and professionalism — setting exactly the right tone for our day of celebration. Many of our guests and family commented on how moving and perfectly balanced the ceremony was. We’re so thankful to Yvonne for helping us create such a memorable wedding day.

ERIN💕ALEX, CORTINA, ITALY

I have long wished to hold ceremony in this beautiful area, taken as home to three sets of nationalities :  Italians, Germans and Austrians! This year, in October, I was lucky to be recommended by their photographer, Christine Madeux of Made in the Mountains Photo, and was delighted to create a warm, intimate, personal ceremony for Erin and Alex.  With letters from afar to be read during the ceremony, which their closest family in the USA had sent to me beforehand,  the emotions were of course on the surface, and we were all crying happy tears!

We were a small but perfectly formed entourage!  Erin and Alex brought their parents to this beautiful lake in the Valley of Cortina, Dolomites, to witness their Vows, a special Handtying with my secret Blessings, and also sign their commemorative Certificate!  The weather was perfection, the October sunshine remained with us until the “Golden Hour” and we had the most amazing backdrop for their Ceremony.

This area is simply breathtaking and while they were setting up for the photos and video, I simply kept taking photos of my own of these amazing peaks.  They look like another world entirely!  As my taxi driver said – these mountains used to be in the ocean.

Thank you Erin and Alex for your kind Words!

Yvonne was a breath of fresh air! Immediately upon meeting her over zoom, she made us feel at home and made the decision of choosing her as our Celebrant incredibly easy!

She was so warm and inviting and so easy to talk to! We couldn’t have asked for a better wholesome person to lead us into a very important journey in our lives!

She is absolutely wonderful and you do not need to look any further.

She really understood what we wanted in our ceremony and completely nailed it! 10/10!!

JULIE💕 JULIAN, FITZROVIA CHAPEL, LONDON

Julie and Julian live in Germany but decided that they would really love to celebrate a bilingual wedding first with a Ceremony at the beautiful Fitzrovia Chapel, and then afterwards, take this fabulous form of transportation across to their Recption at the Nomad.

I am still waiting for official photos to share here!

TRACY💕 BRON, DOLOMITES, TYROL

Tracy and Bron are standing in front of the helicopter which landed them on the top of the dolomites in italy on their elopement day. There is a fresh fall of snow. The bride and groom are side by side smiling to the camera and have their arms held high in celebration.

Tracy and Bron had already booked to travel from Canada to Germany as Tracy was due to compete in the Berlin Marathon.  An injury caused her to pull out at the last minute, but her lovely partner Bron said don’t be sad, Let’s get Married!!

With barely four weeks to plan, they chose Max and Lisa of Nomadic Hearts to help them to elope in one of the most beautiful parts of Europe, the wonderful Dolomites, choosing an area near Merano to stay in a lovely spa hotel, in the stunning St Martin area, with vineyards and apple orchards nearby, and the jagged peaks of the ancient Dolomites all around them.

Tracy and Bron trusted me with a surprise script based on what they had shared with me, and gave me the opportunity to read messages, letters and poems from their family and friends, who were of course all thinking of them!

The Venue was the gorgeous Quellenhof St Martin de Passeier, and the ceremony was held overlooking the spa pools, with fountains playing and surrounded by the beautiful autumn sunlight!

After the ceremony which contained a beautiful Hand Tying and some emotional and heart felt personal Vows, they had lunch together, and then followed this with a wild helicopter ride over the local mountain ranges – which had that morning been given with a light dusting of the first snow of the season!

Their love, joy, happiness and pure delight at what they were experiencing was really incredibly touching and it was an absolute honor to stand with them, and to include a touching memorial to Bron’s father within the ceremony.

This was definitely an exciting elopement!!

All photos by Nomadic Hearts.

Tracy and Bron eloped to the Dolomites and are standing together and hugging each other on top of the mountain after their helicopter dropped them off. fresh snow on the ground gives a winter feel, they are holding each other tightly. Tracy is wearing a satin chemise style floor length wedding dress with pink ombre hem, and a long veil attached to her loose flowing waves.

Thank you Tracy and Bron –  Next time you are in Berlin we are celebrating together!

We are both so happy we had you as our celebrant.

You made our day beautiful, light, comfortable and so special!

I would recommend you to every single couple about to elope on planet earth. Thanks so much, Yvonne.

You are one special lady!

This means so much – thank you both for the opportunity of standing with you on your beautiful Elopement Wedding !

SHARON💕 CHRIS, RIESSERSEE HOTEL, BAVARIA

The wedding ceremony was written by me as a complete surprise, with their permission of course,  and delivered in English, but was also translated into Mandarin for Sharon’s parents, as a warm gesture of making sure they were included in the Ceremony through their own keepsake copy.

The venue was one of my favourites, the Riessersee lakeside Hotel in Bavaria, with its alpine meadow, and the walk around the lake which takes you to a gorgeous viewpoint and hiking trails in the German Alps.

It never gets old, and I know Sharon and Chris and their guests loved the feeling of intimacy and peace that surrounds this hidden gem.

CHRISTINA 💕WILLIAM, METTLACH, SAARLAND

bride and groom are standing facing the camera, while the Celebrant Yvonne Beck Bilingual Celebrant is readng their script in both English and German for the benefits of their international guests.

This was such a fun wedding, Christina and William live in Australia, she is German he is from the UK with an Irish background, and they were fully on board for their bilingual wedding to contain lots of rituals and of course, storytelling!

The venue was chosen for its uniqueness and character, an old mill in the heart of the Saar area of Germany – an area filled with historic architecture, yummy gastronomie and beautiful countryside!

The Ceremony was filled with love, laughter, anecdotes, and we had a celtic handtying too!  Afterwards there was much mor fun with games like “Cut the Heart from the BedSheet” – and the release of balloon wishes!

Thank you both for your kind words!

On the search for our perfect wedding celebrant, my now husband found Yvonne through online research. Liam is from England, I am from Germany, and we both live in Australia. The wedding location was in a remote part of Germany and we were expecting around half of the guests coming from England, Ireland and Australia, the other half from Germany, so we needed someone who could speak both languages perfectly and who we would also click with.

Upon our first conversation with Yvonne, we knew that she was ‘the one’ for us. She is just lovely, she speaks both English and German perfectly, and she made the entire process super easy for us. We had a couple of chats, other than that she provided questionnaires that we could fill in, and at every step of the way she gave us options – if we wanted to see the script, just parts of it, none of it – she made sure to check in with and keep us on track and made sure we’re happy. We also liked that she offered some wonderful rituals as part of the ceremony, we opted for the hand tying.

Our guests were just as impressed with Yvonne as we were, some of them asking us after the ceremony how we managed to find her and even wondering if we knew her personally because that’s how wonderful she brought our story across to our guests.

We can 100% recommend her, she is a wonderful celebrant and we were so lucky to have her.  Christina and Liam

ARTUR  💕 GEORGIA, FAVERSHAM, KENT

Artur and Georgia wanted a very private,  simple pub garden wedding, and had organised for a German guest and an English guest to officiate.  Sadly,  very close to the wedding date, they discovered that only the English guest was available to officiate.  As Artur’s mother spoke no English at all, it was imperative to have a German officient and they scouted the internet, which is where we connected!

Using their previous draft script and adding some of my own suggestions, I created a ceremony for them that reflected their love for each other, and we were able to include all their guests too!

The Ceremony was a story told in two languages, which was a lovely idea they had – rather than have a full translation.

They also held a Flower Ritual where guests held dried blossoms in their hands for a moment, gave a wish or a blessing, then shook the flowers out into a larger vessel which Artur and Georgia would be keeping at home.

Thank you both so very much for leaving these kind words – I am just so glad I was able to help you both to have the ceremony you had dreamed of!

Yvonne was the celebrant for our garden wedding in the English countryside in the summer of 2025. We had found her online and were very lucky to find that our weekend was still available for her. Yvonne is bilingual, in German and English, which was very important for us.

She made it possible for our families to both be included and feel welcome at our wedding, making sure everyone could follow and enjoy the ceremony.

Yvonne is a very warm and kind person. We met with her shortly after contacting and she was very receptive to all our ideas, going with our suggestions and adding her unique expert opinion to make our day very special.

She is clear in her communications, very responsive on both Email and on the phone and is a generally calm presence in the whirlwind that is organising a wedding.

In fact, Yvonne was the only thing we had to not worry about at all during this process for which we are forever grateful. Yvonne goes the extra mile!

Not only does she do a fabulous job doing the ceremony, she flew in for our wedding specifically from Germany for our day. She is very welcoming, friendly and kind and acted as a bridge talking to English and German guests alike.

Her style as a celebrant is unique and tailored to your wishes! We had a bi-lingual ceremony and Yvonne helped us adjusting our script so that it became a story in two languages to follow rather than just a translation.

She made us feel calm and relaxed. We were so very happy to have her with us, and we can’t recommend her enough.

BRYONY 💕MICHAEL, TAWSTOCK COURT, DEVON

the bride and groom have their arms around the celebrant as they pose together for a photo after the ceremony at Tawstock Court a beautiful manor house in north Devon. The bride is holding her small bouquet of white and green foliage and wears a lace dress, white with shoestring straps and a sweetheart neckline. the train of the dress floats around her feet. The Celebrant is holding the keepsake script folder she is presenting to the couple, and a glass of champagne. All are smiling and facing the camera. They are standing on a gravel terrace with flowered urns at either side and the rolling hills of Devon in the background.

An amazing location for a couple whose lives are based in Europe, but who loved visiting this area so much with family from Devon that they decided to have their own “destination ” wedding in England and with a host of international guests!

Tawstock Court was theirs for the day and it provided the best of all the things this couple love :  the great views across wonderful rolling countryside, an outdoor ceremony which was relaxed and fun yet also filled with love,  and happy tears too!

Thank you Bryony and Michael, and I am so grateful for their kind words afterwards!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Yvonne as our bilingual wedding celebrant, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

From the very beginning, she took the time to get to know us, understand our story, and craft a ceremony that felt completely personal and true to who we are as a couple.

Professional, organized, and full of heart, Yvonne guided us every step of the way, making the whole process stress-free and joyful. On the day, everything flowed beautifully, and the ceremony was a perfect balance of love, laughter, and emotion.

We’re endlessly grateful for Yvonne and would recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, caring, and truly exceptional bilingual celebrant.

LYNDSEY 💕DOMINIC, APPENZELL, SWITZERLAND

the bride and groom are standing together and the mountain in the background with some clouds makes for a magical look. The groom has lifted the bride into his arms and she is leaning back slightly so her dress is falling in a lovely arc around her.

Lyndsey and Dominic often hike this beautiful landscape of mountains and forests as Dominic has grown up here and although they both now live in the USA, it was a happy choice to bring Lyndsey’s parents over to Switzerland with them and have Dominic’s parents, who live nearby, bear witness to their love story, beside a mountain lake almost hidden by the forest.

Christine and Scott, spent the morning with them hiking up a path to reach a beautiful spot to capture on film their personal vow exchange and them enjoying a champagne picnic on the alpine meadow.

a couple who have just married are standing with their backs to camera looking over a mountain range. the bride has her right arm around his left arm, is leaning into his neck and she carries her bouquet of roses in her left hand which is wrapped over his right shoulder in a warm embrace

The weather was amazing and the wildflower meadow was the perfect place to capture some epic shots for their photo album.

After a short rest we all gathered together for the ceremony at the lakeside, where we told their love story and their hopes and dreams for their future together, held space for those who were in their hearts, and performed a Unity Candle ceremony which represented the light of their being,  the light that shines around them and guides their path, and the warmth of the flame symbolising the fire in their hearts, to cherish and protect each other come what may!

It really was a wonderful day for everyone!  I am so grateful too for these wonderful images with permission of this couple and captured as always with heart and flair, by Madeinthemountainsphoto

MIRIAM 💕ROB, LAINS BARN, WANTAGE OXON

the officiant, bride and groom are standing together facing the camera after the ceremony at Lains Barn Wantage. The celebrant s wearing a summery dress with embroidered flowers on a white background. The bride is wearing a satin A line gown with a vee neck and holding her bouquet of roses in red, peach and white.

Another beautiful setting for a bilingual wedding, which was available for this lovely couple for them to use exclusively on this happy day!

The Lains Barn Wantage is a beautiful old barn, with a lovely courtyard where guests relaxed and mingled before the ceremony.

With personal heartfelt Vows, a Ring Exchange and a Hand Tying, Rob and Miriam set the seal on their Marriage, and their smiles and hugs were the most wonderful reward!

Thank you for allowing me to share your lovely gallery captured so beautifully by Ian Wallace Photography

Your kind words after the wedding ceremony mean so much, thank you both!

Yvonne is a very warm and kind person. She was very dedicated to creating the perfect ceremony for us – both in German and English. She did an amazing job in transferring our answers to her questionnaire and including stories we had shared during our first call.

The translation into German stayed true to the original’s meaning and during the ceremony, both were given equal space.

Yvonne was as happy for us as every one of our guests – we highly recommend her as a celebrant, especially for bilingual weddings!

ASHLEY 💕SEAN, VILLA HONEGG, SWITZERLAND

The bride has her back to camera and is standing on a terrace of her hotel in Switzerland and is fanning out the veil so that it clouds around her.

It was a real pleasure to return in May this year to one of my favourite Swiss wedding locations, for the Elopement Wedding of Ashley and Sean, who brought with them their siblings and partners to celebrate amongst epic scenery, and take advantage of all the beauty and culture, wine and gastronomie that Europe can offer!

We held a simple heartfelt ceremony with a Communal Vow, as well as emotional Personal Vows and thencontinued the reception and celebrations on the terrace of this beautiful five star hotel, perched 900 meters above sea level, with amazing views of Lake Lucerne

The weather was unsettled, with thunderstorms forecast, but regardless, we held the ceremony outdoors on the alpine meadow.

The rain held off, until just after they exchanged their Personal Vows, when a great clap of Thunder meant a swift return to the shelter of the hotel terrace, where  they rounded off with a Commemorative Certificate signing, Canapes, Champagne and more photos.

lovely images by Ana Kete

Their kind words afterwards on my Google page, were just incredibly touching!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Yvonne as our celebrant for our international elopement ceremony, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to marry us. From the very beginning, Yvonne made everything feel so seamless — even with us being abroad and meeting only over Zoom, she made the entire process feel personal, easy, and incredibly meaningful.

What stood out the most was how she took the time to craft an entire ceremony script based solely on the details we shared with her. She captured our love story so beautifully — it felt like she had known us for years. Her words were heartfelt, genuine, and so reflective of who we are as a couple. We felt so seen and celebrated.Yvonne brought such warmth, presence, and joy to our special day.

We are endlessly grateful to her for making our ceremony so uniquely us. We loved her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, talented, and truly caring celebrant.

She is a gem! Highly recommend!!

RYLAND💕CALVIN, HEIDELBERG CASTLE ROYAL CHAPEL, GERMANY.

the bride holds her bouquet of white lilies aloft as she and her husband walk back down the aisle after their wedding in a chapel in heidelberg germany

This year begins with a dream come true for me, and for this genuine, down to earth couple who began their marriage within a fairytale Castle I am sure everyone has heard of, Heidelberg Castle, in Germany.

Stepping into the Chapel of Kings and Emperors, Ryland and Calvin made their forever promises to each other witnessed by their closest family, including their parents and their siblings.

Their wishes were simply to have a ceremony that combined traditional elements with a modern framework, and so the ritual they chose was a Ring Warming.

bride and groom stand facing each other in a royal chapel in germany. The groom is placing the wedding ring on the brides third finger of her left hand, after their rings were blessed by everyone present in a Ring Warming Ceremony.

This ritual has been popular over the last few years, but interestingly the origins of the ring warming ceremony are rooted in ancient Celtic traditions. This ceremony focuses upon community support and unity, drawing upon the ancient practices of blessing sacred objects.  It certainly does make sense when I see the focus, love, warmth and heartfelt way in which everyone gathered approaches this – making their Wedding Rings, the outward symbol of a Marriage, even more precious and meaningful.

Ryland and Calvin brought 12 people with them from Texas to Germany for their Ceremony.  Why Germany?  Naturally I am always curious about my couples and their choices, so I had to ask the question!  Of course, the bride’s family name has German origins!  It was such a pleasure to do a little research on this for them, and also to include German phrases and quotations on Love, Marriage, and Relationships, that aligned with their own unique love story.

After the Ceremony in the Chapel, they were taken for family photos by Florian of @shotbyflo, and enjoyed a relaxed couple’s photo shoot amongst the grandeur of this iconic Castle, whose foundations date back over 800 years!

Thank you Ryland and Calvin for these kind words! Google Review of Yvonne Beck Celebrant

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our wedding! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive to our story. She took the time to truly understand our journey as a couple and crafted a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful.

One of the most special touches was how she incorporated beautiful German quotes, making our ceremony even more unique and fitting for our wedding in Germany. Her professionalism, sincerity, and ability to create such an intimate and heartfelt atmosphere made our day unforgettable.

We are so grateful for her role in our wedding and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant who goes above and beyond

Beautiful, romantic, charming and filled with lasting memories – this was a dream come true for me too!  My grateful thanks to Peach Perfect Weddings for trusting me with this couple’s ceremony!

WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS IN 2024!!

My final Wedding of 2024:

MEGAN💕GARY, BERLEPSCH CASTLE, HESSE, GERMANY, DECEMBER 2024

Bride and groom are facing the camera. they are standing in a frosty meadow in front of a small victorian chapel in Germany. The bride wears a fake fur stole around her shoulders for this december day. The groom is wearing a black tuxedo. The bride carries a medium bouquet of flowers with red roses, cream roses and greenery.

With a German surname, the bride decided that Germany would be the only destination for her intimate wedding and vow renewal, and brought her close family to join her for the adventure of a lifetime!  Coming from Arizona they were fascinated by the history of the castle, which has foundations dating from the 11th century, and also the local area, which is richly forested, green and lush, even in December.

We had a hoar frost, and some freezing fog on the day, which meant we needed to keep warm, but that also provided the most magical scenery for their post wedding photo shoot!

I can only say again what an absolute pleasure it was to create a warm and loving Ceremony for them, which included a Unity Candle, and included their moms to light their Tapers.  We also completed the ceremony with a Handfasting, with cords which the bride had plaited herself.

Here are just a few sneak peeks of the day which was again beautifully planned by Peach Perfect Weddings and photographed by Ninnie and Dave

ASHLEY💕 JOHN, RIESSERSEE, BAVARIA, OCTOBER 2024

It was an emotional ride for Ashley and John who booked their Bavarian wedding and travelled from the USA with 8 of their closest friends and celebrated a very private and intimate wedding on the meadow overlooking Lake Riessersee, and towards the Alps before them, and Germany’s highest mountain, Zugspitze.

They chose to stay at the beautiful lake house, getting ready separately and then having a “first touch” on the balcony.  Taking a golf cart helped everyone reach the ceremony space with ease, and then we began our tender love story, they exchanged Vows (both of them shedding happy tears as they did so) and exchanged Rings, which had been “warmed” in the Ring Warming Ceremony by those present – who sent such loving, kind and supportive energy to Ashley and John.

It was a beautiful October day, and afterwards we walked back down to the Lake House for champagne and cake!

Always a huge honour to create ceremony – and grateful for being able to work with Peach Perfect Weddings, and the wonderful photographers @julia_and_matthias_photography

ERICA 💕 WILLIAM, OESCHINENSEE, SWITZERLAND OCTOBER 2024

At the top of the mountain the bride and groom sit in the electric shuttle which will take them to the lake area for the elopement ceremony. They are both seated and smiling towards the camera.

Although a tiny country, Switzerland has everything a couple and their guests could wish for – stunning scenery, gastronomie and more activities than you can imagine – and it was here again that we held a beautiful private elopement ceremony for Erica and William, at this amazing lake, with its’ own instagram page,  but which was, at this time of year, relatively quiet.

Hair and make up for Erica was simply perfect, with her Hollywood Waves and glamorous smoky eyes.  She was delighted with her bouquet and the buttonhole in shades of peach, blush and cream with green eucalyptus accents.  Having held her bouquet for her for a few moments, it really did feel so precious and the scent was sublime!

So after getting ready at their hotel in the heart of Kandersteg, the area close to the lake itself, I walked with gorgeous pair and our photographer and planner, to the cable car which took us over 5,000 feet to the top of the lake, which we then reached by electric shuttle.  The ten minute ride down allowed everyone to see them, and cheer us all on!

This lake is famous for its’ beautiful colour, it’s elevation and often mystical cloud formations.  After a slightly damp morning, by the time we arrived, the clouds had moved on and Erica and William had the most amazing afternoon with a Wine Blending Ritual, signing their keepsake Certificate, and enjoying the congratulations and warm wishes of everyone who passed.

I am delighted to share some of their picture gallery provided by the photographer of the day Cengiz of @Wedlab !  Aren’t these just amazing?

The ceremony was a beautiful confirmation of their love story, and their dreams and wishes for the future, and as their Celebrant, it really was an honour to be given their trust, to create a ceremony that they heard in the moment, on their Wedding Day.  It still gives me goosebumps!

Thank you to Peach Perfect Weddings and Vanessza for this amazing Elopement and as my season is about to end (still one more ceremony in December!) I am grateful for your trust in me and my services.

GRETA 💕 ANDERSON, SCHLOSS BERLEPSCH, HESSEN, SEPTEMBER 2024

As Elopements go, this was simply so romantic, and had such a fairytale vibe.  The couple travelled by themselves from Canada to hold their private Ceremony with me at the Chapel that is nestled in the valley just below the 12th Century Castle.  Hidden amongst the pine forests, this is an enchanting location and I know they loved the atmosphere and the unique memories they made here.

They had entrusted me with the whole Ceremony, and so heard this for the first time in the moment.  With beautiful vows and a symbolic Candle Lighting Ceremony which honoured not only them, but those who were not present, and those would would have loved to have been with them.

Music was a part of their day too, and the Cellist @das_celloduo played beautiful songs as Greta walked in to her husband, and then again spontaneously played the music they loved, which encouraged them to have their “First Dance” in the chapel too!

As always, I am grateful to Peach Perfect Weddings for choosing me as one of their trusted suppliers.  It really is an absolute delight to be their “local” wedding Celebrant in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  First images only but a taste of what is to come!  Beautifully captured by Larisa Gancea.  I was so touched by Greta’s words on Google !  Thank you!

Yvonne is truly spectacular! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Yvonne while we were planning our German elopement, and lucky enough to have her be our symbolic celebrant on our special day.

She put so much thought and care into everything, and from the moment we had our first call with her we knew we were in excellent hands! We had the perfect day, and celebrating afterwards with her was so much fun. Thank you, Yvonne, for a beautiful ceremony, it couldn’t have been any more perfect!!

Thank you Greta and Anderson for the joy, the love, and the absolutely beautiful story you allwed me to craft and to share with you.  Wishing you years ahead filled with so much happiness!

REANNA 💕 DUSTIN, VILLA HONEGG, SWITZERLAND SEPTEMBER 2024

Celebrating over 18 years together in a fairytale country that Reanna had read about in storybooks as a child, was simply a dream come true.  Both Reanna and Dustin wanted to celebrate this milestone, as newlyweds, in a place of stunning scenery, and brought with them their closest family including their two children…. sadly they had to leave their amazing fur babies at home in Vancouver, Canada.

A luxurious yet relaxed environment beckoned at the amazing Villa Honegg, a hotel that is perched high on a hill overlooking Lake Lucerne.  Photos and sneak peeks were awaited here with such excitement and I am delighted to share these with you!  I hope these should what an awesome experience it was for them, and naturally for all of us involved too!

These wonderful photos from their day were captured by https://danieldyntar.ch/and as always my grateful thanks for choosing me as your Celebrant.  Another romantic Wedding, perfectly planned by Peach Perfect Weddings.

JESSIE 💕 CHARLES, HENLEY, UK, AUGUST 2024

With a blend of Scottish and Ugandan heritage, Jessie and Charles literally “Tied the Knot” in both a symbolic Wedding Ceremony and registered their Marriage at Reading Register Office on the same day, returning to a Toast to the happy newlyweds using special drinking vessels, the Ugandan Lwendo, and accompanied their guests with some amazing African Dance moves, their own Kizomba dancing and so much more!  It was a glorious celebration of culture, heritage, style, authenticity and blessings from Charles’ family in the form of materials for their Hand Tying.

It was a totally unique wedding, with so many wonderful personal touches, I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen by them both as their Celebrant, and MC after the ceremony so that they could relax and enjoy all these wonderful individual moments with their family and guests.  Their venue was Hambleden Village Hall, Henley, a wonderful space to create your own unique magic, and these two certainly did that!

We felt grateful for having Yvonne as our celebrant. We had a wonderful day which in great part was thanks to Yvonne’s warmth, efficiency and experience. We chose to have a personalised ceremony and from start to end Yvonne listened to us, understood our wishes and worked with us to create a magical ceremony.

She communicated well throughout the whole process and was thorough in planning her time with us. She arrived with plenty of time to spare and was not rushed to leave. This gave us comfort that we did not need to worry about her.

Overall we had great respect for Yvonne and felt that we were in safe hands and as our ceremony turned out, this feeling of safety was not misplaced.

BRITTANY 💕 JARRETT, SCHLOSS SCHADAU, THUN, AUGUST 2024

Brittany and Jarrett held their intimate wedding Ceremony and Celebrations at the spectacular Schadau Palace, in the stunning medieval city of Thun, with the Bernese Mountains in the background, and the shimmering lake Thun outside their Ceremony Room.  White roses decorated the space and there was such an air of romance and elegance in this stunning venue.

For the ceremony itself, Brittany and Jarrett trusted me with a script they heard for the first time on the day itself – this is always such an honour and a delight to see their faces and expressions as I tell their love story, using their voice, their words, and my interpretation too.  It really is a blend of emotions, – happy tears, laughter, smiles, and joy!

We closed the ceremony with the signing of their Wedding Certificate, a keepsake of course, as they had completed their Court House Ceremony back home in Florida before travelling to Switzerland.  It was a lovely moment they could share with their parents, who signed the Certificate and gave their blessings.

In that beautiful salon, they had their First Kiss, which led into their beautiful Father and Daughter, Mother and Son dances.  A breathtaking day planned with perfection by Peach Perfect Weddings, and captured by Veronika Bendik

It was as always the most exquisite Wedding Ceremony, with gorgeous details and the most romantic setting!  Thank you for choosing me as your Celebrant!

LISA 💕 CHRISTOPHER, ERMELERHAUS, BERLIN, JULY 2024

This Glaswegian couple absolutely love the vibe of Berlin, a totally unique atmosphere to be sure, blending culture, diversity, art, design, architecture and style that reaches across the centuries, and their Venue was nothing short of a hidden Gem, in this fabulous city.  The Ermelerhaus dates back to the 16th century, where it was a Palace owned by the aristocracy and then later by entrepreneurs of this great City, who maintained many original features, adding delicate rococco and baroque designs to emulate the great palaces of Berlin and Potsdam, and giving this hidden gem a truly magnificent historical provenance.

As a Wedding Venue, it was both elegant, classical, and intimate and for L and C, its high ceilings, chandeliers and vaulted staircase gave it a truly “other world” sensibility – situated as it is now behind a modern city hotel, in the heart of Berlin.

With a Hand Tying to honour their Scottish heritage, and some touching emotional personal Vows, as well as their delightful mini-kilted baby boy’s cheerful heckling of this celebrant during the ceremony (which I was totally enchanted by!) this was a truly special union of two people who have grown together, shared the challenges and the delights of new parenthood, and stand on the threshhold of forever.

Thank you L, for these kind words too!

“I knew from my first Zoom call that Yvonne was the perfect celebrant for us. She made me feel so at ease and her warm and friendly nature was clear. I was nervous about getting married abroad and Yvonne helped me with so many things along the way. She truly went above and beyond. Yvonne created and delivered the perfect ceremony. Thank you for everything Yvonne we will remember the day forever.”

CLAIRE 💕 STEPHAN, FLUXBAU, BERLIN, JULY 2024

a wedding is taking place alongside the River Spree in Berlin, The wedding couple are holding hands and looking at the Celebrant who is reading from their Ceremony book.
A heartfelt Ceremony with an international guest list, in front of the Iconic Oberbaumbruecke, Berlin

Two happy travellers who met by happenstance across the other side of the world were joined in a Bilingual Ceremony on the banks of the River Spree, in the capital of Germany!  Berlin, with its iconic landmarks, is a city filled with diversity, colour, spectacle, originality and always leans into a party!  For Claire and Stephan, this was important – they wanted to share their love story with friends, colleagues, and family, in a joy filled Celebration of the meeting of soulmates, and a blooming good party to boot!

Their international guest list was impressive – and they were both so grateful to be able to share this day with so many of their closest friends and family who made the journey from Australia, Canada,  the UK and several other European countries, to share in their joy!

I had met Claire around 5 years earlier in a Berlin women’s networking group, – sharing wine and telling life stories, we really hit it off,  but all too soon,  Covid happened and she had to go back to Australia.  Which of course, is where she met the love of her life, Stephan.

After all these years,  I am so grateful she and Stephan asked me to create their ceremony, and the Candle Lighting Ritual, symbolising the joining of two families and two hearts.  They also included these beautiful words by the amazing poet,  Witney Hanson, which was read in both languages.

They say that sometimes
love starts with a spark.
And that might be true,
but if I were to wish you a love,
I wouldn’t wish fire for you.
You see, fire is powerful.
It burns bright and then it’s gone.
It’s beautiful and warm,
but it doesn’t last long.
So instead of wishing you a love that burns,
I wish you a love like a river twists and turns.
It changes and it flows,
It is powerful and free.
But it consistently finds its way back to the sea.
And so like the water,
I hope your love is ever growing, ever changing.
I hope your love is powerful and free,
And may you always find each other,
Like a river finds the sea.

Thank you both for your trust and for these kind words, and wishing you so many more years of  happy travels and adventures!

And Thank You both so much for these kind words, and the Review left on Google

“We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant than Yvonne for our wedding in Berlin in July 2024. She created such a warm and inclusive atmosphere, effortlessly bridging English and German so that all of our guests felt involved in the ceremony.

Yvonne’s ability to capture our story was truly special—many of our friends even thought she was a long-time family friend because of how personal and heartfelt the ceremony felt.

One of the most memorable parts was the candle lighting ceremony she suggested, which added such a beautiful, symbolic touch. Her attention to detail and the way she guided us through the day made everything feel effortless. From start to finish, she brought our vision to life in a way that was genuine, warm, and reflective of who we are as a couple.

We are so grateful for Yvonne’s kindness, professionalism, and joy. If you’re looking for a celebrant who will truly honor your love story and make your day unforgettable, we wholeheartedly recommend her!

Thank you Yvonne!”

It really is such a pleasure and delight to know that I have given this wonderful couple the Ceremony they dreamed of, as the heart of their Celebrations!

KRISTEN 💕 JULIUS, IDSTEIN, PRIVATE HOUSE AND GARDENS,  JUNE 2024

Idstein is a medieval Town on the outskirts of Frankfurt and has the most wonderful array of “Fachwerk” houses, half timbered houses that date back to the 15th Century.  On a beautiful sunny afternoon in June, it was my absolute pleasure and honour to conduct a bilingual Wedding Ceremony for this adorable couple, in the garden of the groom’s family home.

With an international guest list, friends from their childhood, university and their professional lives (Kristen is an acclaimed musician and teacher) they shared their precious vows under a rose arch in a beautiful courtyard garden, and raised their glasses to a heartwarming toast given by Julius’ parents.  With a string quartet playing classical and modern music for the entry and recessional, and for the entertainment of all the guests, it was one of the most atmospheric and genuinely authentic moments of celebration.  The love between these two shone as brightly as the sun on this perfect day!

As it was a private ceremony it was relaxed and filled with so much happiness!

I am delighted they have allowed me to share some images, of their garden, reception area, and the beautiful Town of Idstein, which is definitely on my Favourites list!

Congratulations Kristen and Julius, wishing you so much happiness!

EMILY 💕 HUGO, OESCHINENSEE LAKE, SWITZERLAND, JUNE 2024

Emily and Hugo chose this beautiful outdoor space for a heartfelt and emotional Elopement.  It was a true joy to witness their love for each other, and to stand with them on such an emotional day.  With a surprise script, which they had entrusted me to write for them, and simply reflecting their deep love and commitment they have for one another, their joy in their faith, and beginning their marriage with a sense of wonder, humility and purpose.

They exchanged personal vows in the meadow beside the chapel at Kandersteg, and then held ceremony beside the lake itself.  It was so beautiful, as you will doubtless agree – these breathtaking images were captured by the amazingly talented Christine of Made in the Mountains Photo

VICTORIA 💕 TREQUAN, SCHLOSS BERLEPSCH, HESSEN, GERMANY, MAY 2024

From North Carolina USA to Hessen, Germany – joined by family and friends, Victoria and Trequan held their symbolic marriage ceremony in a true to life fairytale castle, which has been standing in the beautiful green woodlands since the 12thC.  They met online, and quickly noticed that they were both learning German!  Seven years later, they had the chance to use their language skills and to tie the knot in this stunning castle chapel.

They entrusted me to write a ceremony for them which was a surprise and which they heard for the first time on the day.  It was filled with storytelling, emotion and peppered with German quotes on Marriage, much to the delight of all their guests!  They particularly enjoyed taking part in a Ring Warming ritual, and both the American and German relatives and cousins agreed it was a wonderful way to reconnect, and celebrate the love between these two!

Planned by Peach Perfect Weddings, and with this loved up couple beautifully captured by @Larisa Gancea photography, along with my own images of the castle and grounds, I am sure they will have made lasting memories to treasure.

HUDSON 💕 DAVID, SCHLOSS SCHADAU, THUN, SWITZERLAND, APRIL 2024

Another visit to this fairytale palace in the charming historic city of Thun was a true joy and to celebrate with a meaningful ceremony that included buddism, spirituality and christian faith, along with a candle lighting ceremony to embody the fire, the passion the warmth and the enduring flame of love that was ignited when they met.

It is so compelling and so special to be able to include all faith, as well as rituals and the important storytelling, as well as the personal vows and promises.  As many of my couples do now, Hudson and David wanted to hear my words for the first time on their wedding day.  Another gift that is so precious to me – telling their story, with their voice and their dreams.

Thank you Hudson and David for placing that trust in me.  Perfectly planned by Peach Perfect Weddings and gorgeously captured by @raheldurrer

MALLORY 💕 DILLON, SCHLOSS SCHADAU, THUN, SWITZERLAND, APRIL 2024

The groom has bent his bride backwards over his arm to kiss her, she is holding her bouquet aloft in the air with her free arm.

This fun couple brought close family and friends over from Rhode Island and other parts of the US to celebrate their Big Love at a location that is simply breathtaking.  The Palace at Thun, on the banks of the River Aare is spectacular, and the view overlooking Lake Thun, with the Bernese Oberland mountains in the background was so beautiful.

Mallory and Dillon loved the elegant yet laid back vibe of the hotel, salons and of course being able to say their I Do’s on the lawn in front of the lake itself.  Tying their own Infinity Knot was a huge part of their ceremony as this is the strongest yet most pliable knot that can be tied, a fitting symbol for their relationship, and their Marriage.

A mesmerising gallery of love, laughter and romance, elegantly captured by Rahel Durrer and beautifully planned by Peach Perfect Weddings.

Trusting me to write a Ceremony for them which they heard for the first time on the day itself is a huge honour, and I was so grateful to receive these kind words from them after the ceremony:

Yvonne, we are so fortunate to have you officiate our big day.  At the time of writing this, the ceremony has not started, we don’t know anything beyond the outline you shared.  After meeting you the other day we are nothing but confident you will lead a heartfelt and thoughtful intimate ceremony.  Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and serving such an important role on our wedding day! Mallory and Dillon.

CHARLY 💕 PATRICK, WOODHALL MANOR, SUFFOLK FEBRUARY 2024

This was a stunning event with so much attention to detail paid by the bride Charly in particular as she had been planning this day for over three years!

A day that was postponed due to the pandemic but which in the end was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to relax in this exclusive venue and to meet up with joy and excitement to wish Charly and Patrick continued happiness and success in their lives.

As their celebrant it was an honour to write and deliver their story and to remain after the ceremony as their mistress of ceremonies until the First Dance.

WEDDINGS IN 2023!!

I hope you enjoy looking through some of these images of weddings and the lovely couples who chose me as their Celebrant.  These always give me goosebumps when I look at them – usually when I am travelling and am scrolling through my phone – and I think how very lucky I am to be able to create ceremonies for all these wonderful couples, and work with them to build memories that they will absolutely love to look back on, over the years.

SARAH 💕JAKE, CHATEAU GUETSCH, LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND DECEMBER 2023

Sarah and Jake had the most intimate, romantic and fun ceremony at this  gorgeous Chateau overlooking the lake in Lucerne, Switzerland! Their mums lit their candles in the Candle Ceremony and their guests all took part in a beautiful, tender and emotional “Ring Warming” ritual, which meant that their precious rings were even more meaningful when they came back to be exchanged.  Both brought a tear to our eyes with their wonderful personal vows, written from the heart.

I brought them a small Christmas souvenir from Germany, a Pickle Christmas bauble – something of a myth or modern legend, and which was accepted with delight!

Of course it is a joy to create ceremony and to witness deep love stories, and the extra lovely bonus for me was their invitation to stay on afterwards for their sumptious and delicious Wedding Breakfast.  Congratulations Sarah and Jake, on a wonderful happy Wedding Celebration!

Their kind words afterwards were so very touching, and sweet!  Thank you both for the incredible honour of being your Wedding Celebrant!

Yvonne exceeded all expectations as our bilingual wedding celebrant. Her eloquence in both English and German added a unique touch to our ceremony, making it truly unforgettable. Yvonne’s warmth and professionalism shone through, creating a seamless and joyous atmosphere for our special day. Her attention to detail, coupled with a genuine passion for her work, made our wedding a beautifully personalized experience. We are incredibly grateful for Yvonne’s contribution to our celebration, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to couples seeking a skilled and bilingual officiant. Yvonne, danke für alles!  Jake and Sarah (Yell)

MALLORY 💕JEFF VILLA HONEGG, LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND DECEMBER 2023

Yvonne was a wonderful celebrant for our wedding ceremony in Switzerland. She was so kind, fun and attentive. One of the hotel staff members actually thought she was one of our mothers because she was so involved in making sure the day went well. I highly recommend her without reservation! Mallory and Jeff (Google)

Mallory and Jeff also chose this beautiful luxurious hotel Villa Honegg, for their private and intimate Elopement in the Swiss Mountains above the amazing Lake Lucerne, in December 2023.  They love adventure, travel, camping out, smores around the fire, spending time with their friends, and living a life filled with experiences that they have chosen.  They trusted me with their ceremony, and simply wanted it to be romantic, authentic and include a Wine Blending ritual.  This was perfect as the Villa Honegg has its own beautiful wines to offer!

The snowy conditions didnt faze them at all and Mallory’s dress was a stunning lace and pearl combination with a Gatsby vibe, and covered her shoulders with a beautiful vintage faux fur stole.  She simply was an amazing bride, stunning, beautiful and Jeff was a perfect foil for her in his Bond style suit.

Family and friends were of course mentioned in the ceremony, and the words from parents and siblings, the encouragement, the support of all their family and loved ones meant so much.   With Champagne in hand they donned the hotel’s teddy bear coats and I think these made them look even more gorgeous!

Again the images were captured beautifully by the lovely Mel of @melpicphotography and we adored the musical interludes played by the wonderful musician @tabeasalome8   Every detail was carefully planned with @peachperfectwed.

GRACE 💕CONNOR, VILLA HONEGG, LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND OCTOBER 2023

This beautiful boutique hotel high on a mountain in Switzerland was a fabulous choice for Grace and Connor’s nuptials. These took place in the afternoon on the meadow path overlooking Lake Lucerne and the mountains.  The couple were blessed with good weather, although a wind warning was given and we watched as the boats on the lake scuttled back to shore.  But nothing marred the moment, and they took a moment to have a first look and exchange their vows privately, then we held a traditional ceremony with rings which had been “warmed” by their closest family.  These images were beautfully captured by Rahel Durrer a Swiss based photographer and the planning again was perfectly completed by Peach Perfect Weddings.

Yvonne was absolutely amazing and did such a good job capturing our feelings towards one another in the ceremony. Grace and Connor (Brownbook)

JENNY 💕 WYATT WEDDING, POTSDAM, GERMANY SEPTEMBER 2023

bride in white dress, groom in suit with bow tie smile at the camera. Their celebrant is standing between them also smiling. The backdrop is a floral arch with greenery

Jenny and Wyatt’s relationship is so strong, and pure too.  They both live and study on different continents and time zones, yet their relationship has blossomed in spite of many challenges, and after six and a half years, is on a firm foundation.  Their marriage was as loving and caring as they are, a true reflection of their personalities and the way in which they have kept their love alive, fun and focused too on a future which means probably working in another different country too, but which has made them totally excited about this adventure which they are so committed to enjoying every monent!

Their ceremony was held in the amazing Rainforest Centre, the Biosphaere, in Potsdam.  The lush greenery and 30degree consistent temperature made for a lovely warm and inviting venue.  Jenny and Wyatt added two rituals to their Ceremony, at the beginning we held a Unity Candle Lightin Ceremony, which represents their individual light, and also their strength and passion for each other.  They then blending two favourite soft drinks into a Mocktail – Cola and Fanta Orange!  A very beloved German mixture, with an interesting history too, dating back to the Second World War and the US Coca Cola factory in Berlin!

After the ceremony, Jenny was kind enough to leave me their feedback in a Google review and I was so very touched and grateful to read these lovely words from them and to know their ceremony was everything they dreamed it would be.

We had the pleasure of having Yvonne create our bilingual ceremony in english and german. She did an amazing job and was such a pleasure to work with. She was always reliable and answered very quickly when we had any questions. She created a wonderful and personal ceremony that was fun for us and our guests. She has a wonderful way with words and people. Our ceremony turned out absolutely perfect. Thank you Yvonne for the thoughtful and unforgettable ceremony that you created for us!  Jenny and Wyatt.

ASHTON 💕 RYAN WEDDING, GSTAAD, SWITZERLAND AUGUST 2023

Ashton and Ryan’s Beautiful Mountain Top Wedding in Switzerland

It really does mean so much to be asked to create ceremony and to gain the trust of couples who are travelling from so far away in order to create these new and wonderful memories.  It is a real pleasure and honour to meet them and Ashton and Ryan were simply awesome – so easy to work with, so honest with their information and communication that I was able to create a ceremony that really spoke about their unique story.  With a guest list of only closest family, it really was the most spine tingling moments when they said their Vows, which they had written themselves.  A young couple full of hope and dreams but with a strong firm foundation, and the love and support of all around them.  Their highlight video confirms it – they are amazing!

I was also so very touched by their feedback, which they both left for me on my Google Business Page.  Wishing them and their loved ones every happiness and that all their dreams and wishes come true.

My heartfelt thanks to them both for leaving the following kind words:

Ashton wrote:

“Yvonne is the best!!! She made our ceremony perfect. She is so good at making your ceremony unique! We couldn’t recommend her enough- she is the sweetest!

Ryan said ” Highly recommend Yvonne! She was fantastic and created the perfect day for us!”

LORRAINE 💕 PHILLIP, BILINGUAL WEDDING, RIESSERSEE, BAVARIA, JUNE 2023

The Riessersee is another beautiful glacial lake high in the mountains in the German Alps.  There is so much beauty around, it really is a stunning place to hold ceremony.  For Lorraine and Phillip, from the USA and Germany, it was important to start with an adventure, and they certainly did!  The hotel and lake have wonderful facilities, food and wine, and the option in the summer to swim in this glorious water at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, is both a privilege and a joy.  The area itself was famed for it’s 1936 Olympics Bobsleigh run.  The remains of the wooden support structures can still be seen!

Lorrain and Phillip wanted a romantic, inclusive ceremony and so both English and German language was used, and included two Rituals : a heartfelt Ring Warming where each guest held the rings for a few moments and sent their love and energy and good wishes, or made a quiet prayer or blessing upon them, followed by a Unity Candle Lighting representing the blending of not only two people, but two families.

LAURA 💕 JON, PRIVATE CEREMONY, BERLIN, JUNE 2023

I worked with Laura and Jon for several years since before the Pandemic and they were always set on having a wonderful celebration with their family from the UK and further overseas, in a small apartment block in Berlin where they could set up their own music, catering and decorations.

In between contacting me and the Big Day, they had two adorable girls, who were a big part of their Celebration.  It was a particularly emotional moment for them as friends and family gathered and one of the Readings was “adapted” hilariously by their “witness” who re told their story in the voice of The Gruffalo!

a wedding reading adapted to reflect the couples own personal meeting and love story

ALLISON 💕 BRYCE,  AM WEISSENSEE, BAVARIA,  JUNE 2023

Allison and Bryce were holidaying in Europe in 2019, during which they visited Mittelberg, which was, according to Bryce’s mom, was where her father and grandfather were buried.   She only had some very old black and white photos, of Bryce’s Grandfather Andreas, who was buried in Mittelberg, and her own father, Hans, from whom she only had one painting, which Bryce remembers hung in his childhood home.  It was a bit of a stretch after so many years, but she asked Bryce to see if he could find anyone in the area that might have word of the family.

As they tried to find out where Bryce’s grandfather might have lived, they visited the local church yard, and it was there, they happened to meet an older man and his son.  As they began talking, they discovered that this man and son were actually related to Bryce and his mom!  Such Serendipity!  It was therefore absolutely no contest about where they would wed,  inviting these long lost relatives to join in their joy, and reconnect with their family, at the beautiful lake Weissensee (White Lake), with a Beer Blending and Ring Warming Ceremony which I was delighted to lead in both languages, and wear a traditional “Dirndl” Bavarian dress.

It was a very emotional and tender moment for them as they chose to exchange vows privately on a nearby meadow, with the Alps as their backdrop.  Afterwards we all gathered for the most amazing Reception and Cake, at the fabulous Hotel Rubezahl.    Photos by http://www.madeinthemountainsphoto.com

Kind words from Allison and Bryce after the Wedding:

We are SO thankful our photographer recommended Yvonne to us! We did a video chat with her and instantly knew she was a great match for us. She is kind, delightful and has such a positive outlook on life- always making things fun! She provided a detailed questionnaire that helped us explain our love story that she used to wonderfully craft a script for our small ceremony in the Bavarian Alps. When we informed her our German speaking family would also be attending, it was no problem for Yvonne to add in the translations. Having a bilingual ceremony was so so special to us! Yvonne had multiple ritual options for us to choose from. We chose the ring warming for our family to participate in and the beer blending. The rituals were things we would have never thought to do on our own and both turned out great! We highly recommend Yvonne as a celebrant. She is top notch! We are so happy to have met her and are grateful for her integral part in our special day!

LISA 💕 BLAIR, BILINGUAL CEREMONY, ALFTER, GERMANY, MAY 2023

Lisa and Blair now live in Edinburgh, but travelled with family and friends to celebrate their Marriage in a beautiful manor house in Germany.  The village of Alfter and the Buchholz Manor is in the heart of the prettiest countryside, and the month of May was simply perfect for them both!

They asked me to create a bilingual ceremony to support the many German speaking guests, and it was again a lovely moment for me, as Lisa and Blair had not explained beforehand – a really nice inclusive touch, and a lovely surprise for those whose first language is not English 🙂

They were so very kind to send me this lovely picture of us taken after the ceremony, and left these kind words as a Google review.

bride and groom with celebrant standing in between them, folloiwng their ceremony. All are smiling into the camera.

KELLY 💕 MARIUS, BILINGUAL CEREMONY MANCHESTER ART GALLERY, MAY 2023

Kelly and Marius came over from their home in the USA for this personal intimate ceremony with their family and friends, and chose Manchester, and the Art Gallery, because this is where they originally met, while they were both studying.

It is an iconic venue, and we held the ceremony in a room filled with wonderful art, particularly the paintings by Lowry, which I had never before seen except in books!

It was wonderful to be able to create a warm, heartfelt ceremony in both English and German for them!  I am delighted to be able to share some lovely images of this wonderful day, all beautifully captured by Lee Brown Photography

JENNY 💕 AARON, BILINGUAL CEREMONY AT HOLMES MILL CLITHEROE APRIL 2023

Jenny and Aaron wanted a simple relaxed ceremony that would allow everyone to use the space all day and well into the evening, and chose the event space at Homes Mill in Clitheroe, to host a wonderful fun and lively Wedding Day.

They asked me to create a bilingual ceremony script for Jenny’s family and it was a true delight to be able to do this and to see the expressions on their faces when I began speaking in their language!  🙂  These are the parts I really enjoy!  No personal photos of the couple or with me as yet, but I am hoping!!  These images are taken by me on my iphone.

JANNA 💕 LUKE, ELOPED TO LAKE EIBSEE, APRIL 2023

Janna and Luke decided to elope to one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany – Lake Eibsee.  This is already 1000 metres above sea level, and close to Germany’s highest mountain, Die Zugspitze.

They trusted me with their ceremony, which was a surprise script.  They had already sent me their vows, which again, would be a surprise for them each on the day.

The setting was just perfect, only a little chill in the air but the light was glorious, and the music from our traditional Bavarian musicians, was just so charming and fun, they decided to hold their first dance together, at the lake itself!

Beautiful moments captured by http://www.anapaulalobato.com in this video.  Thanks also to Peach Perfect Weddings for choosing me to create this ceremony for this lovely couple!

VERONICA 💕 CHRISTIAN, ELOPED TO DAS RUEBEZAHL, SCHWANGAU, BAVARIA, JANUARY 2023

They both wanted a simple but personal ceremony and to include a Bavarian tradition where the Dirndl Apron is retied to denote that she is now married.  In this area, single women have the apron bow tied over the left hip, and when they marry, they tie their apron bow over their right hip.  This was something they chose to do instead of re-exchanging Rings, as they had already exchanged these in their Marriage ceremony in the USA.  So, it was up to Christian at the appropriate moment, to untie Veronica’s Apron, and create the new Bow, on her right hand side.  What an absolutely charming ritual!

WEDDINGS IN 2022!

A brief look back at my year so far.  It is now the last quarter of 2022, and it has been an amazing season.  I want to thank you all for trusting me with your ceremonies.

The year began so well, and it was so exciting and heartening to be able to create and celebrate with couples again, with no restrictions!  The season for me began earlier than usual, with my first ceremony on 14th April followed by another on 17th April and rounding the month off with a beautiful mountain wedding on 24th April!  Then followed so many more glorious ceremonies in beautiful surroundings, including more unique ceremonies in and around Lake Eibsee, a stunning mountain lake that simply takes your breath away!  I am delighted to have been a part of so many ceremonies for so many lovely couples!

Wedding season finishes for me on 29th December 2022 and I already have lots of fabulous ceremonies to look forward to in 2023 and am also booking for 2024!

STEFI 💕MATT’s BILINGUAL WEDDING, THE TYTHE BARN TETBURY, 2022

Stefi and Matt were a true delight.  They wanted a bilingual ceremony to inlcude all their family and guests and I was more than happy to oblige!  They held their Wedding Ceremony  in December 2022, at the stunning Tythe Barn at Tetbury.  It was a joyfilled occasion, with a Surprise Rose Giving to their mums, and a Unity Candle Lighting Ceremony which represented both their individuality and strengths, as well as the love and support of both their families.  These kind words from Stefi recently are so very touching, and precious to me.  It really means the world when couples tell me that this was everything they wanted!  Thank you Stefi and Matt for your kindness, for these lovely words from your email, and also for the Google Review you took the time to write for me.

Thank you so much for sharing e-copies of the Script, Vows and Certificate. Also, a huge thank you again for having made our ceremony so so special. I really can’t express just how beautiful and personal it was and how much that meant to us. A lot of our guests have also said that it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they’ve ever witnessed. Not to mention my family, who were so grateful to be able to follow and feel included.

Five Star Google Review: Yvonne has created the most beautiful and personal bilingual wedding ceremony for us. From the first time we met all the way through to the big day, Yvonne has been nothing short of amazing. So much care and thought went into creating the perfect ceremony for us and we really can’t thank Yvonne enough.

SUZY 💕JONATHAN, ELOPED TO BURG RHEINSTEIN CASTLE, BAVARIA, SEPTEMBER 2022

This simply has to be what fairytale dreams are made of!  As Suzy and Jonathan planned their elopement to Germany, it was my absolute pleasure to fill the brief Suzy gave me “make it as German as possible”!  This area had resonated with them on several levels, and it was a real pleasure to learn what had drawn them to choose this particular location!

I included German words and phrases on Love and Marriage, asked them to say their I Do’s in German, as well as in English!   This was simply the most adorable, personal and beautiful ceremony as there were only four of us, plus a Scottish Piper that Suzy had asked for as a surprise for Jonathan!  The whole ceremony was kept hidden from them both until the moment we began, and it was pretty perfect – streaming out  over the oceans to their families in America so that they could also share in these beautiful tender moments!  We included a Beer Blending and a Handfasting, plus the Piper played us in and out!  What a fabulous Elopement it was!

Thank you Suzy and Jonathan for placing your trust in me, and also for sharing these lovely kind words after the ceremony:

Yvonne, our Fairy Godmother! You became more than just our Celebrant. It started as business but we absolutely are family now. You heard our story, our personal details and historical connections to our Castle venue in Germany and tied it into the most amazing ceremony.

Our vows in German, our hand-fasting and beer blending rituals were everything we could dream of and more. Afterwards, you became our travel buddy back to Berlin and we will never forget our nights in Bingen!!

We are two kids from the US that had no clue how to be German for a week and you made it so much more easier.

Thank You SO MUCH for your phenomenal job and beautiful friendship to last a lifetime!!

SAM 💕EVAN, VOWS ON A MOUNTAIN TOP, RIGI KULM, SWITZERLAND

This was  simply one of the most amazing locations for weddings – the mountain Rigi Kulm, in Switzerland, which was chosen by Samantha and Evan for their Wedding, as it had the most amazing views, a chapel at the top of the mountain, a five star hotel and of course, the additional romance of snow falling on their Wedding Day!  So perfect.  A bilingual Ceremony was requested, and of course it was my absolute honour to create this for them, and to meet and greet their family and guests.  A couple who work hard, travel hard and who have the most amazing future together with their fur baby who sadly they had to leave behind in the US!  Nevertheless, he got a mention in the Ceremony 🙂

Their Ring Bearers were their parents who came forward rather nervously at first, to offer the rings to them.  It was a very sweet moment to have them surrounded by both their parents, and I think I actually got something in my eye too…. 🙂

Sam looked absolutely exquisite in a beautiful silky bias cut gown and her husband Evan looked very dapper too in his dark blue suit.  They are such a relaxed, happy and genuinely awesome couple it was a real pleasure to work with them.

Thanks to Peach Perfect Weddings for all the background work, and for allowing me to be a part of this truly wonderful Wedding Day.

ERIN 💕GREG, AN INTIMATE CEREMONY AT LAKE EIBSEE, BAVARIA , JULY 2022

This highlight video is simply the most charming and romantic – when Erin and Greg decided to hold their ceremony beside this beautiful glacial lake at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, it was a busy July day, but we still managed to find a perfectly private spot to place our chairs and decorations, for this lovely couple and their closest family.  It was a beautiful summer’s day, the ceremony was filled with love, laughter and some choice German phrases on Love and Marriage, which I like to include occasionally, depending on the mood and style of the couple.  Erin and Greg were enthusiastic about everything and their joy at being in this special place was absolutely real and tangible.  I created a “surprise” ceremony script – and many of my couples are now allowing me to present this to them for the first time at their wedding ceremony.  As a Celebrant, this can be both daunting and yet is also allowing me to bring my love and passion for what I do, and be a part of this in a very real sense.  Getting to know my couples over time gives me a sense of their style, relationship and what tone and format the ceremony should be.

I hope you also get goosebumps when you hear these words, and their beautiful heartfelt vows! <3

Perfectly planned by the amazing team at Peach Perfect Weddings

And I had to share some of the amazing Gallery of photos that were just so incredibly beautiful,  filled with emotion, happiness, love, –  they gave me all the feels for sure!  Another wonderful Film and photo capture by the amazing Aneta Lehotska

LOUISE  💕CARSTEN AT BERLEPSCH CASTLE, HESSEN, GERMANY JULY 2022

With a love story that began in 2011, at the 22nd World Scouting Jamboree in Sweden, Louise and Carsten overcame the challenges of distance – he lived in Germany and she lived in Ireland, to create a strong foundation which included lots of travelling,  studying, career changes and change of lifestyle.  All culminating in a celebration in Louise’s beloved Ireland, and for Carsten, a bilingual ceremony in this beautiful romantic location in Germany.  The details of their preparations are simply wonderful – a custom made ring which included the colours of Ireland (the purple fuschia) and the green of German forests.  The Handtying cords, using these natural colours of purple, green and gold as well as silver charms – one, a Fox, for Louise, for Ireland, and the other, a Wolf, for Carsten, for Germany’s forests where wolves used to roam, and with a centre fashioned in the Celtic “Infinity” Knot, – representing a bond that is strong but also has ease, so that it is never too tight.  A wonderful representation of their relationship, and for them, of the marriage they wish to build together.

And bringing their fur baby Fenrir, a beautiful black Lab, was simply adorable, and completed their day perfectly!

JOTA 💕 DAVID,  A GREEK/GERMAN BILINGUAL CEREMONY IN A PRIVATE GARDEN, ENGLAND JUNE 2022

Many of my couples have had to postpone their wedding ceremonies due to “you know what” and Jota and David were no exception.  They wanted to celebrate a traditional wedding incorporating their Greek, German and British families, and it took some time and patience, and the glorious addition of their beautiful daughter, before we could all gather under the gorgeously decorated marquee in David’s family home in the north west of England

I had the absolute honour of writing and delivering a bilingual ceremony, and the Stefana or “Crowns” Ritual, which was performed by the bride’s cousin, also called Jota, and who had been trained in this ceremony by her local priest.  It was a very moving and loving ceremony, which was full of smiles, and laughter.

The Stefana ritual is usually performed in church, and represents the crowning of the couple as Sovereigns over their home, equal partners in Marriage and is filled with meanings that resonate with modern couples today – equality, trust, respect for each other and sharing everything together, the good, and the not so good.

Jota and David it was a true honour to be a part of your special day, and I thank you for your kind words left on my Google page!

Translation by Google:

Yvonne was our wedding Celebrant for our bilingual wedding in England and we highly recommend her.

A wedding with a wedding celebrant is so much more personal and individual and we are so glad we chose her. The contact and coordination with her was great – she already understood in our meeting what we had in mind and adjusted the ceremony to it and was always there to advise us.

On the day itself, she came extra early and helped bridge the language barriers of the two families and assisted in the greeting of the guests. We had a wonderful day that we will always remember – also thanks to Yvonne!

How absolutely lovely to receive these kind words in a Thank you Card from them in the post – it really did brighten a foggy wintry day here for me 🙂

A thank you card from a wedding couple, flattened out and showing the front and back photo which is of the two of them standing in front of trees and a meadow in the countryside, and a group photo of them in the garden where they held their Ceremony
A lovely keepsake for me as a proud Celebrant for their Greek/English/German Wedding!

Handwrittent thank you Card from a recent wedding couple, who had a bilingual Greek German and English Ceremony in the UK in the summer of 2022
These kind words mean everything! So glad their Bilingual English/German wedding with Greek traditions was exactly how they wanted it to be.

The translation is as follows:

Dear Yvonne

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again – for the open and heartfelt communication, your support during the planning and on the day itself, and especially for helping to make our wedding day so special with your speech and the individual and personal ceremony!

We hope that you also had a wonderful day with us.

Love from Cologne and all the best from us all.

ATHENE 💕 MARCO’S BILINGUAL WEDDING WITH TEA CEREMONY, SCHLOSS BRITZ, BERLIN,  JUNE 2022

On a gorgeous Summer Day, Athene and Marco held their bilingual wedding ceremony at this beautiful old palace in the heart of Berlin.  Schloss Britz is simply stunning, surrounded by parkland, woods and rose gardens, and really stood as an extra beautifully dressed “guest” at their ceremony.

Athene wanted to give her parents the honour of a Tea Ceremony and this was simply beautiful and emotional, as they had travelled very far to be with their daughter on this special day.  I was totally honoured to be given the task of holding the tray as this ritual was performed, and special words were spoken to her mother.

A truly sincere, romantic, exceptionally beautiful wedding day!

Thank you Athene and Marco for your kindness, your trust in me, and for your warm hearts and wishes – as well as for these kind words which you left for me afterwards.

Yvonne – from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for crafting such a wonderful wedding ceremony for us!

From the thoughtful, heartfelt words that truly reflected who we are as a couple, to the seamless transitions between German and English, you made our day unforgettable.

You were an absolute joy to work with, and we are so grateful to have had you as our celebrant!

JASMIN 💕 GLENN – A BILINGUAL CEREMONY AT CASTLE VIEW STABLES, LEICS, MAY 2022

A bilingual wedding for Jasmin and Glenn was exactly what they had hoped for – to be able to include everyone in the ceremony and to honour their own individual heritage and families.  Their ceremony was a blend of the traditional, and the modern, beginning with a Ring Warming, to the delight of the guests who had never experienced this type of inclusivity at a wedding ceremony before, and finishing up with a fun Beer Blending where two beers were first tasted individually, then poured into a jug and re-shared between the couple.

This can often have quite startling results, as many couples find that the blend is actually a more pleasant taste than the individual beer!

I do however indicate that Marriage might be a blend of the sweet and the bitter, but that our hopes for them remain firmly focussed on the sweetness that Marriage can bring. 🙂

Jasmin and Glenn, your kind words after the ceremony mean so very much, and it was a true delight to meet your families and dearest friends and give you the bilingual inclusive loving, sincere, warm and relaxed wedding ceremony that you asked for!

We have finally recieved our Wedding photos! Attached a few.

Thank you so much again for making our Wedding ceremony so special.

We are very grateful that you made your way to England for our special day. It was a pleasure to have you as our Celebrant and the way you have put together our Ceremony was just perfect. We especially loved the beer ceremony!

Thank you so much!

Lots of love

Jasmin & Glenn

TELIMA 💕 MATTHEW  AT LAKE EIBSEE, BAVARIA MAY 2022

Telima and Matt wanted to bring only their very closest family to their intimate Ceremony in this sacred location – and it was a total honour to be a part of this and create the ceremony that perfectly representated their love, their lifestyle and their values.  As a couple who love nature, and want to look after our planet, it was important for me to bring together all the elements and of course, we did this, through the storytelling, their Vows, and the emotional Hand Tying ceremony with cords that had been braided by Matt’s mum.  Sharing these amazing and epic images makes me so very proud, and I hope will inspire you too when it comes to planning and creating your own special magic!  Appreciation must go to Cat of Wild Connections Photography,  who took these amazing images in between the thunderstorms and created this stunning film!

Their beautiful wedding video is truly special 💕

HELEN 💕 JEFFREY HELD THEIR ELOPEMENT AT LAKE EIBSEE, BAVARIA MAY 2022

With a simple brief to create a romantic personal Elopement ceremony I was just so delighted that Helen and Jeffrey loved the “surprise” words I wrote for them!  Their elopement from the US to Bavaria was to mark the start of an adventure in life, beginning with some purely private and personal time, in amongst this magical scenery – beautifully captured by Kate and Adam of The Bostons.co and Innar of Innar Hunt Film who gave me my first drone experience!  What excitement!  🙂

This fabulous and staggeringly beautiful Elopement for Helen and Jeffrey was almost less than a week after Christina and Jeffrey – how unusual it was to have grooms with the same name 🙂 And how touching and lovely to receive these kind words from Helen and Jeff aftwards <3

Hi Yvonne, Hope you are doing well!! We wanted to say thank you again for coming to our ceremony and your speech was so beautiful.

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our special day.  We got our pictures back and here are the ones with you!

Helen and Jeffrey.

It was nearly the middle of May, the day temperatures were rising, and the mornings were still a little misty – but Helen and Jeff wanted an early ceremony so I arrived at the lake around 08.30 in the morning, to see it “waking up” almost from a sleep!  How beautiful this area is, and it never fails to be enchanting for my couples, who choose either to simply come together on their own, or to invite those who are closest and most special to them.

Their wedding film is an absolute treat for the eyes and the heart!  Starting with their darling boy’s birthday which Innar included for them as a surprise – these details are simply breathtaking!  Captured beautifully by Innar Hunt Films

CHRISTINA 💕 JEFFREY ELOPED TOGETHER AT LAKE EIBSEE, BAVARIA

Another beautiful tender elopement at this fabulous location – with scenery that is simply epic!  Christina and Jeffrey wanted an adventure for their wedding and their honeymoon and travelled from Carolina to Eibsee, to the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, and simply gloried in the day.  Their handfasting was so special, with colours chosen by them and interpreted by me, in a ceremony that they heard for the first time when I began speaking to them.  It really was a “love bubble” for the three of us.  And how wonderful and touching it was for me to receive these wonderful words following their ceremony in Bavaria.  It really touched me and made me so very proud to have been able to create the ceremony they dreamed of, and stand with them as their Wedding Celebrant.

We found Yvonne through our wedding planner and she managed to make our elopement wedding truly personal and heartwarming. She worked to get to know us and our story, and she incorporated that into our ceremony so beautifully and carefully. She was warm and welcoming and a joy to interact with.

The personal touches and consideration truly made our ceremony special. The questionnaires she gave us actually made us truly dig deep and think about our relationship and inspired sweet conversations and memories.

I wasn’t sure what to expect eloping in Germany and worried that the ceremony would feel cold and impersonal, but as I look back on the day, watch our video, and read the script Yvonne so carefully and artfully prepared – I only feel warmth and gratitude for the opportunity to work with Yvonne.

We truly felt like the ceremony was about us. It highlighted our love, our hopes, and our desires. We had input in the ceremony, but still managed to be so wonderfully surprised and touched by the final outcome. And all of that was coupled with Yvonne’s lovely and caring delivery.

Thank you Yvonne! You made our wedding day truly magical and we appreciate your kindness and attention to detail in your efforts to create a ceremony that spoke to our love and our hearts.

PRISCILLA 💕 RICHARD AT SALSZBERGALM, BERCHTESGATEN, BAVARIA

Wow this highlight video by Aneta Lehotska photography  is just beautiful!  Priscilla and Richard came from Costa Rica to Bavaria to share in their wedding joy – whatever life has thrown at them, they have overcome, and their ceremony was filled with love, laughter, and a brilliant simultaneous Spanish translation by her brother really made this super special!  There were so many happy moments and lots of emotion – a surprise gift giving by them both to their parents, was a truly lovely moment for everyone.  The personal story, personal Vows, and a hand tying, were just the perfect ingredients for this wonderful happy Day!

The kind words afterwards from Richard really were so sweet and I am totally endlessly grateful for the opportunity to be their Wedding Celebrant in this most glorious natural location!  Thank you Richard and Pri – you are simply amazing!

Yvonne was the celebrant at our wedding in Germany. We were absolutely delighted with her.

Months prior to the date we were in contact with Yvonne and she took the time to hear our individual stories and create an amazing individual ceremony that reflected perfectly our own story.

I was so happy with the research that she did and all the details she included to create a ceremony that seemed tailor-made for us. It was so personal and everybody in attendance was moved by it.

Super professional. Excellent service.

On another note, Yvonne, aside from the meticulous planning was fantastic on the day. She managed to use her amazing personality to relax everybody, injecting humour, lightheartedness and her obvious skill to keep the whole thing flowing naturally, dealing with all sorts of spontaneous events (a roudy crowd of Irish and Costa Rican family) to keep the entire thing at the same time structured and full of sincere personality.

We would highly recommend Yvonne to anybody.

Thanks Yvonne. And thanks for the candles!  Richard and Pri xxx

LATOYA 💕 KERNEL, LORSCH CLOISTERS, UNESCO, LORSCH, GERMANY

Latoya and Kernel have an amazing love story – they met and fell in love as teenagers, but were parted by circumstances over which they had no control.  As young as they were, they lost touch, but they never forgot about each other.  Life went on, and both of them built a life for themselves.  One day though Kernel was able to reconnect with Latoya,  and they both discovered that love had not been lost, they were simply waiting for the day they could be together.  With their faith, and their belief in Love being a tie that binds your hearts for always, they celebrated at this beautiful historic site.  It was a real joy to be a part of their day, and to hear them make their forever promises to each other.

LAURA 💕 RORY, OLD LUXTERS WINE AND BREWERY, HAMBLETON, ENGLAND

Laura and Rory finally celebrated their Wedding Day with all their family and friends, at the gorgeous Barn here which was beautifully decorated!  They wanted a “spring ceremony” and they certainly did have this with blossoms everywhere!

Their legal marriage had been a quieter affair, which was still absolutely beautiful, but they wanted to hold a “day filled with joy” too, and I was honoured to be asked to be their Celebrant, and to create a simple but emotional Ceremony for them both.  There were some very happy tears as we shared their hopes and dreams with their families.  And following that with the fantastic food wine and hospitality at Old Luxters, it really was hard to leave, but I simply don’t want to impose afterwards any more than necessary, and once the photos are completed,  I say my personal goodbye and my thanks, and present them with their “presentation keepsake” folder which contains all their lovely Vows, Readings, and the Script.

These photos recently shared show their love for each other and how magical their wedding ceremony setting was!

It was so kind of Laura to send me these kind words afterwards :

I would absolutely recommend Yvonne who was our celebrant at our pandemic postponed ceremony.

She wrote a beautiful script which had our friends and family laughing and with a few tears.

It was really worth the wait and made the day very magical.

WEDDINGS IN 2021!

It started out as a very difficult year again, and many of my couples have postponed to 2022, so I do look forward to sharing more images and stories with you.  However, I am so grateful that after June 2021, things began to open up, and we could hold larger celebrations in both England and Europe.

ANNA 💕ALEX, CANTLEY HOUSE, WOKINGHAM, ENGLAND

Anna and Alex had a beautiful bilingual Autumn themed wedding, with a Handfasting that was carried out with Cords she had woven herself, and in the colours of both their ancestral crests (how cool is that!) and a symbolic Tree Planting – they planted a tiny acorn together and we made several wishes for them that resonated with this, offering wishes for a long, happy and healthy marriage.

They are such a fun couple too though, and held a variety of games outdoors on the lawn – including an Egg and Spoon Race, and a Sack Race!  That really was such fun to watch!  I think Anna did amazingly in her wedding dress!  Indoors they had a variety of board games for their guests to play and seemed to create some lively friendly competition!  As keen board game players themselves, all these personal touches and details made it even more special for their guests.  Their venue provided them a beautiful  setting for their guests,  which I would define as “relaxed luxury” – it really was the perfect location for their Wedding Ceremony and their Reception.  I was very touched to receive these kind words from Alex recently:

Yvonne really understood what we wanted and helped us organise our thoughts regarding the ceremony.

We had lots of contact before the day to arrange everything and she incorporated our ideas as well as providing a framework to the day. Her enthusiasm in regards to celebrating our union really helped make it special.

You can tell that she really loves and enjoys her job, which made the day go really well. We had lots of pleasant feedback from our guests, who thoroughly enjoyed her service.

We would recommend Yvonne to anyone looking for a bilingual, fun, and caring celebrant.

KELLIE 💕EDDIE, HELD A TENDER EMOTIONAL ELOPEMENT AT OBERSEE, BAVARIA

You really cannot imagine how stunning this location is, until you are standing right in front of one of the most magical views and know that you are going to help a lovely couple make their forever Wedding Vows to each other, in this beautiful space.  K and E flew from the States to hold their elopement here at Lake Obersee, a gorgeous area in the mountains, accessible only by boat, and after a 20 minute walk from the lower lake, you reach this stunning lake area.  It really is breathtaking.

With just the fourof us: Kellie, Eddie, myself, and  their lovely photographer Nadine of https://www.herz-flimmern.com/de/fotografie/  we stood in our own “bubble” and witnessed a wonderful intimate ceremony.

Kellie and Eddie were amazing to work with, despite several hiccups, they were always patient and so kind.  They also trusted to write their script, hearing  the words I had written for them, for the first time in this fabulous location!  They then shared their own personal, loving Vows and Promises to each other.  It is a real priviledge to witness the love between two people, and I am so grateful that I was asked to be their Celebrant.

Wedding planner @peachperfectwed again made everything run so smoothly, with pink champagne and a small but delicious picnic for them both.

Nadine of https://www.herz-flimmern.com/de/fotografie/ is the most amazing person to capture the beauty of these mountains and lakes, living so close.

Kellie, Eddie, you were the BEST!   I wish you everything wonderful for your future!  Thank you too, for these lovely kind words.

EMILY 💕MATTHIAS at RIVERVALE BARN, YATELY, ENGLAND

I have had the pleasure of officiating at Rivervale Barn before, and each time it is so breathtakingly lovely!  For Emily and Matthias, who had to reschedule several times due to the pandemic, and the fact that their families were scattered all over the world, it meant they had to be very patient, but that patience definitely paid off!  They held a stunning wedding ceremony and Breakfast here at the Barn, and it was amazing as Rivervale staff did everything they could to ensure everything was perfect for this awesome couple!

Emily and Matthias asked me to create a personal, intimate and loving Ceremony, which included their own special thanks to their respective families, and acknowledging those who were unable to be with them.  It was also created in both English and German, so that everyone was able to feel included, and a real participant in the occasion itself.  There wasn’t a dry eye anywhere as they exchanged their personal Vows.  Although a “simple” ceremony with no additional readings or rituals, this was still so very personal, as the ceremony was essentially written for them, and about them, and contained their “voice” and “personality”.

There is nothing more authentic than bringing a love story to life in one of life’s major events, the day of unity, of forever promises, the day you are “married”.

Photos:  Yvonne’s iphone.

Yvonne is an absolutely wonderful person. From the minute we got in contact with her, she was professional in every manner and polite. She aided me and my husband with the process of creating the speeches for the day. She spoke in a very articulate manner in both English and German and presented in a very heartfelt way. Thank you Yvonne for contributing to our special day 🙂 Emily and Matt P.

LAURA 💕STEVE at Birkenheide 1, INGOLDSTADT, BAVARIA.

Steve and Laura wanted a private, personal Ceremony but in a place that was close to home too – their home is in Bavaria, and their guests travelled thousands of miles to celebrate their special day with them.

We began with a surprise Gift Giving to both sets of parents, which was absolutely charming!  Then as part of the Ceremony we also held a a Sand Blending, to symbolise their union and that just like the grains of sand, they can never be separated.

They held their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the grounds of this spectacular “Biergarten”.   Steve’s father wanted to say a few words, and these were truly emotional and heartfelt, with family advice on marriage, stories about Steve and Laura, and the blessings of their family priest, it was so very special.  There were also Laura and Steve’s own personal Vows and Promises, which were sincere, touching, and heartfelt.

As befits the Bavarian style of celebrating, there was also a lavish Wedding Breakfast prepared, with live music, and a dance floor!  Although no professional photos are available as yet, I took these myself of their lovely set up both outside in the September sunshine, and in the Wedding Breakfast room.

Congratulations Steve and Laura and thank you so much for asking me to be your Celebrant! <3

Hi Yvonne,

Thank you so much for guiding us through our wedding, we indeed enjoy every moment of it and never stop reminiscing as we look back at the pictures. Here are some pictures for your website.  Wishing you a wonderful New Year!

JENELLE 💕CHRIS at Berlepsch Castle Chapel, Berlepsch, WITZENHAUSEN, GERMANY

It was a joy to work again with Peach Perfect Weddings, and to create a beautiful Ceremony for Jenelle and Chris, who travelled with a small wedding party of their closest family and friends, to the Hesse Castle, which has in its grounds, this stunning Chapel, which can be used for ceremonial and religious Weddings.  It really is a hidden gem, amidst stunning ancient forests.

Jenelle and Chris were keen to mark the occasion with a number of rituals – all of which added to the beauty and the emotion of their Ceremony.  A Unity Candle, to join their previously separated lives, as well as their families.  A Hand Tying Ceremony with special colours and meaning, to show their unbroken bonds of love, and finally a Beer Blending Ritual – two different beer types blended into one – and tasted!

Sometimes there will be sweetness, sometimes there will not, but the hope is always that their Marriage will be as sweet and long lasting as the memories they made this day.

JESSICA 💕STEPHEN at THE FORTIFIED CHURCH, HUNAWIHR, ALSACE REGION, FRANCE

For Jessica and Stephen, an Elopement here was a dream that came true – at a church which was used in the anime of Beauty and the Beast, which they saw on their first date, it simply had to be this beautiful area of Alsace, filled in evocative scents, vineyards bursting with black and green fruit, and three iconic castles nestled in the opposite hillside.   A place for dreaming and for binding yourselves with your forever Promises.

The Ceremony included a handfasting, with cords prepared by Jessica herself, and two particularly emotional Readings – I had asked both parents for their “Advice on Marriage” and read their wise words out to them both, in a ceremony that they trusted me with, and which they heard for the very first time on this beautiful sunny autumn day.  I included some of the romantic quotations from “Beauty and the Beast” and ended with “Everythings is fine.  You are together”.

This beautiful highlight video was recently sent to me from Peach Perfect Weddings who were the amazing planners supporting Jessica and Stephen,  and I am so excited to share this with you!  Film by Jessi and Markus.

It was lovely to receive these kind words from Jessica and Stephen recently:

Thank you so much Yvonne!! We could not have asked for a better celebrant. You really did make our day even better with your thoroughness and the care you took with our ceremony. Thank you again, it was such a joy meeting you and having you a part of our wedding day 🙂

JUSTINE 💕ANTHONY at MICKLEFIELD HALL, HERTFORDSHIRE

Justine and Anthony celebrated in fine style at the beautiful Micklefield Hall, which is a stunning venue that was also happily local for them and their families.  Within the Temple Ceremony area they said their Marriage Vows to each other, promising to love, honour and cherish.  Their dreams and their adventure as husband and wife begin today.

The Roses were a surprise gift at the beginning of the ceremony for each of their mums.  I had given them some “homework” to do for me, so that I could address their mums by name and give them the messages of love and gratitude that Justine and Anthony wanted me to say for them.  Not a dry eye at that moment!

It was a lovely emotional ceremony, filled with love, laughter, stories, dreams and wishes.  Wishing this lovely couple a wonderful life together is both an honour and a joy for me!

I was very grateful and touched to receive these words from them shortly afterwards:

For our wedding day, we wanted a special and personalised ceremony. I was delighted when I came across Yvonne. She was so friendly and attentive and it felt like I had known her for years. Our wedding script was perfect and summed up how we felt about each other beautifully. On the day of our wedding Yvonne put us at ease and our guests commented on how wonderful the ceremony was. We can not recommend Yvonne enough.

Thank you Justine and Anthony, it was such a pleasure to meet you both, and to create a meaningful ceremony for you!

TEJAL 💕ROB at Shustoke Barn Coleshill, WARWICKSHIRE

Tejal and Rob live and work in Toronto but their families and closest friends are from this part of the world, so they brought their Wedding Day all the way from Canada, to them!

With a beautiful candle ceremony where both mums lit their tapers, to a meaningful ancient HandFasting, to “tie the knot” and a beautiful reading – Touched By and Angel, by the amazing Maya Angelou, this was a truly emotional and deeply resonant moment for everyone.

We had laughter, and tears, and with the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside and this amazing Barn setting, I know they were filled with joy as they were able to celebrate their love story with everyone present.

These are simply the most beautiful words to sum up what it means, when Love enters our lives.   The poem asks us to be bold, asks us to be brave and to have courage, because Love will set us free.  Free to be our authentic selves.  This is the promise that Rob and Tejal made to each other, as part of their vows :  to allow each other to grow and become the people they are meant to be, and to support, encourage, trust, and respect each other.

With these vows, their commitment to each other is complete and their own journey and adventure in Marriage, as husband and wife, now begins!

Their lovely kind words after the Ceremony were so touching!  Thank you both sooooo much!!

We had heard great things about Yvonne, and from our first skype call with her we knew we wanted to have her as a celebrant for our wedding. As we were living in Canada, a lot of our communication was done over calls, texts and emails. Yvonne made the process so easy for us in terms of preparation, we instantly felt at ease with her support and guidance and personality. The day itself was amazing and the ceremony beautiful. Yvonne was fantastic in coordinating everything and delivered an amazing ceremony for us both. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. Thank you Yvonne!

KAT 💕STEPHEN at 21Gramm, Berlin Germany

Kat and Stephen booked me in 2019 and had several changes of date and venue before we were able to finally celebrate with them in July this year, at 21Gramm, a gorgeous venue that was in the heart of their own community, in Berlin.

With a curated guest list of close friends, as family were unable to make the journey owing to restrictions in travel to Germany, it was beyond doubt made joyful by their fortitude, their courage, their determination to celebrate their marriage, and their love for each other.

It was also completely and utterly beautiful, with the art installation floral arch by Kopflegenden of Berlin.

I was also touched to receive a sweet email from them both after they returned from a short honeymoon.  Their sentiments were so generous.  It is always a pleasure to celebrate with my couples, and their kind thoughts really did make me feel so grateful we were able to complete their day, if not in the way they had planned, but certainly filled with love and light.

SARAH 💕 LOGAN’s Surprise Celebrant Elopement at Lake Eibsee, Bavaria

This certainly was an amazing and stunning Elopement!   Sarah had no idea where Logan had chosen to hold their wedding!  She was totally enchanted with this beautiful location, in the heart of Bavaria, by a glacial lake, which looked as if it belonged in a fairytale!

The Ceremony Logan asked me to write, was also a surprise, with both of them hearing my words for the first time, in this beautiful setting.  Their Vows to each other were also new and personal during the ceremony, and they exchanged Rings, and lit a Unity Wedding Candle, symbolising their union as husband and wife, and also the joining of their two families.  Although they created this magical moment just for themselves, to be fully present, and connected, we also remembered and held space for those who were not able to be there.

Their thoughts and thanks and gratitude for all the people, family, and friends who supported their wish to elope, were spoken into the quiet woodland, and the joy on their faces I think says it all – that perfect Wedding Day is there for each couple!

Thanks and a huge shout out to the brilliant @aneta_lehotska who took these amazing images and captured this day for them so elegantly with film and video – see their highlights video below!  Another beautiful Day perfectly planned by @peachperfectwed  Sarah’s beauty was enhanced by @beautybyjerrianne

KATHA 💕ALEX at Coppins Farm, Bures, Suffolk

Katha and Alex wanted a relaxed, laid back, but also traditional Wedding, with their closest friends and family.  As some restrictions still existed,  we were only 25 in number, but were all totally engaged and enthused by their choices!

We held a Candle Unity Ceremony by the stream, with both of their mums doing the honours, lighting their individual tapers.  They repeated Traditional Wedding Vows, but also  wrote their own surprise Vows – and folded them into a keepsake jar, to retrieve on their Anniversaries, when they will re-light their candle.

Two Tapers and a Pillar Candle with a Jar for their Vows

They chose to hold their Wedding Breakfast in a tented Tipi on the beautiful Coppins Farm, in Suffolk, and decorated the woodland area by the stream with a beautiful arch and drapes.  Their florist Helen Newman worked wonders as the area had had some heavy rain a few days before!  The photo of the three of us taken after the Ceremony near the Reception area was by Laura McGlashan

WEDDINGS IN 2020

This was of course a truly difficult year for us all, and I am really saddened to see how the wedding industry as a whole has been affected, with so many couples and suppliers having to make so many changes, with all the disappointments that this involves.  Also the harshness of perhaps losing friends or family to the pandemic, – well it really has been a very very upsetting time, which has taken a huge toll on us all.

I did manage to conduct two weddings in the year.  There was a wonderful White Wedding for E and N who tied the knot at Chartridge Lodge, in January 2020.  Unfortunately, I have no photos as the couple are very private, but they did leave me a lovely comment which you can read here.

HANNAH 💕 TOM at Lemore Manor, Herefordshire

In September 2020 I was fortunate to have conducted a small wedding, socially distanced, and under COVID regulations, for a lovely couple, Hannah and Tom, whose ceremony was  captured by Darina Stoda, and held at the lovely Lemore Manor

2019 WEDDINGS

This year has been wonderful so far, with Ceremonies beginning in May and which will end in December!  I am always happy when my couples give me permission to share the images of their day, and am waiting for more of my summer wedding couples to send those over to me !  Once I have them, this page will be filling up again with gorgeous inspirational images and remind me again of these amazing occasions!

Maddie 💕 Scott at Lake Eibsee, Bavaria, Germany

As recently featured on www.mountainsidebride.com, Maddie and Scott held their Wedding Ceremony in a Winter Wonderland in southern Germany – a December Wedding for this Australian couple meant the seasons changed for them dramatically! From their hot summer to a frozen glacial lake!  What an absolute delight this was!  And for me, working with one of the sweetest couples, it was also very emotional!  Not least because it was the first time that Maddie and Scott had ever seen snow!

They were overwhelmed with the touch, sensation and feeling, and of course, their lovely intimate ceremony (which they had asked me to keep a total secret until the day)!  I cannot express enough my thanks and gratitude to this couple, who have allowed me to publish their wedding video which is absolutely delightful!

Take a moment, and listen to two lovely young people, making their forever vows to each other.  Captured beautifully by www.WildConnectionsPhotography.com and www.AnetaLehotska.com and planned by www.PeachPerfectWeddings.com

Paul 💕 Bree at Warwick Castle, Warwickshire, England

This wedding could not have been more special, flamboyant and just so different from any I have ever conducted, and I absolutely LOVED it!  Paul and Bree are a wonderful fun, openminded and free-spirited couple who have a love of English history.  They travelled from Australia where they both live with their family and their fur babies, and invited an international contingent of wonderful guests to celebrate with them in style!  I was asked to create a ceremony that had historical 15C content and vows, and they added their own personal and unique style to proceedings too!

This was a post Christmas Wedding ceremony at the end of December 2019, which made it even more exciting and stunning as we had the castle dressed with trees and baubles, candles lit at the banquet and Paul and Bree had also booked a magnificent Fireworks display at the end of the evening!

It was so lovely to receive their personal thanks and feedback and I cannot thank them enough too for placing their trust in me as their Wedding Celebrant!  Congratulations!!

“Yvonne was such an amazing celebrant to work with, she made our day one to remember. While working with Yvonne with our medieval wedding theme she was so adaptable and her use of great sourcing medieval scripts and vows.Yvonne was so happy and honestly understanding in the edits I made to her speech and our Vows to make it so personalised to the people we are, she captured our true meaning of love.  Thank you Yvonne for not only dressing up for our themed wedding but for being a part of our magical day, it was an hour to have you as our celebrant and take part in our feast with our family”

“Thank you Yvonne.Paul, Bree Phillips”

Rionnagh 💕 Patrick at Heilig-Geist-Kapelle, Berlin

It was a real pleasure to create a bilingual Ceremony for Rionnagh and Patrick, who live in Berlin and who wanted an authentic ceremony that reflected their personalities and love for each other.  I was so proud to have been asked to be their Celebrant and oh my gosh these photos on this blog are just stunning!  Their Ceremony was held in the centre of Berlin, with a reception at Claerchens Ballhaus, a stunningly evocative and historic Ballroom nearby.

This is a couple who wanted this day to be perfect for their guests, and for each other.  Their ceremony was translated into German and Ri made her vows to Patrick in German too – much to the delight of her husband and of course all the German speaking guests!  To honour her Irish heritage, we also conducted a celtic Hand Fasting – which made the whole event a gorgeous fusion of customs, culture, and the magic of love and romance!

This stunning wedding was also featured by Frieda Atheres, a leading wedding magazine and blogger in Germany, so do dive in to the link below, and immerse yourself in the full glory of this lush romantic and stylish wedding!

Thank you Rionnagh and Patrick for asking me to create a truly personal, romantic and sincere ceremony for you both.  Your kind words and feedback mean so much to me!  Congratulations and wishing you so much more happiness as you travel onwards together.

“Thank you so much Yvonne! Our bilingual wedding ceremony was everything we could of wished for and more! Both our families felt included and the ceremony still felt very personal to us.   Rionnagh and Patrick

Clara 💕 Mario at Brinsop Court Estate

Clara and Mario brought their guests over from Europe and held their Bilingual Ceremony in this beautiful country house – taking over the venue exclusively for the weekend allowed everyone to relax and to enjoy the wonderful Herefordshire Countryside.  It was a really beautiful day.  I created a Ceremony for them which was completely in the German language, for their Guests.  With personal Vows, and heartfelt Readings, and guests in Swiss National Costume, it really was a wonderful occasion!  I am so grateful for their kind words and photos they sent to me afterwards.  Memories to cherish!

Real Weddings !! – Yvonne Beck Bilingual Wedding Celebrant

Julie 💕 John at Hampton Court House, Richmond, London

A private June wedding with no photos but a lovely review was left for me by John recently.

This Indian Scottish fusion wedding took place over two days and was filled with warmth and happiness! It was a real pleasure to create a Christian ceremony for John – again filled with beautiful words, hymns and blessings. A real honour for me, in this iconic venue!

Hayley and Katja held Ceremony in Yorkshire

It was a beautiful relaxed and wonderfully romantic and emotional occasion! They exchanged vows in each other’s native language which was truly wonderful to witness. As a couple we reflected their love story in such a warm and heartfelt way 💕

Yvonne created the most beautiful wedding ceremony for me and my wife ❤️ She created a bilingual wedding ceremony, my wife is german and she spoke the vows in English, I am English and I spoke the vows in German – to show respect to one another and to our family. It was simply beautiful all our guests had the possibility to understand everything and told us both how wonderful it to see. Yvonne was always quick to respond to our emails questions and she always gave us a lot of information and made us feel super special not only on our day but also in the preparation. She gave us cards and our vows in a special folder to keep on the day which we will cherish forever. I fully recommend Yvonne to any couple wanting a unique, loving and memorable ceremony. She is just lovely and you can tell she loves what she does, passionate and caring. We cannot thank her enough 💕 xx Best wishes from Germany Hayley and Katja.

Shereena and Lerum celebrated at Kevington Hall, Kent

This was one of the most stunning weddings I have had the joy of being present – with a gorgeous bride in a stunning bespoke gown, and a handsome groom – it was a ceremony filled with romance, laughter, and emotion.  Shereena and Lerum have been together for over 10 years, and yet their love is as fresh and new as if they had just fallen!  It was wonderful to witness their love, and also to be asked to stay and celebrate with them too!  The warmth and friendliness of their guests and family was very touching, as was the feedback they left for me.

Yvonne was truly a wonderful person to perform our ceremony. She took the time to meet with us, understand what we were about and showed passion in wanting to deliver a meaningful, bespoke ceremony for us, which she did 100%. She was open to adapting to us, using terminology that she may have not… Readmore been familiar with to personalise our ceremony but she embraced it all and brought the best smiles and laughter to our guests as well as ourselves. She gave us the relaxed vibe that we wanted but maintained professionalism. She brought personality to our union and we could not be happier with her. She was great from the very beginning. She took the time to have a phone interview, meet in person, was patient with our responses, flexible and was on time on the day. We thank you Yvonne for a truly amazing ceremony.Love Lerum and Shereena.

Angelika and Tom wed at West Green House, Hartley Wintney, Hampshire

It was an absolutely stunning summery day at this gorgeous National Trust location, which was chosen by them because they often visit.  It was certainly very beautiful, on the lawn near the lake.  We had personal vows and lovely readings, and their girls took part too, in witnessing their ceremony and signing the Ceremony Certificate with them.  What an honour to create a ceremony for such an adorable couple and their guests!  Thank you Angelika and Tom for these beautiful pictures, from their lovely photographer  Elina Upmane.

We chose Yvonne as our celebrant for our wedding in June. Her bubbly friendly personality attracted us to her from our initial meeting. I think she worked out our personalities quite quickly and was very good at putting all the information about us together for our wedding ceremony. The day was very special but was made even more special with her there. I would highly recommend Yvonne to anyone!

Pamela and Alex were married in the Museum at Überlingen, Lake Constance, Germany

What a gorgeous wedding this was!  A Bilingual Ceremony to include all the guests and family – which meant a lot to them both, as Pamela grew up in this part of Germany, and many of her family and friends are still there.  It was a beautiful day, a gorgeous location, and with personal vows and wedding wishes, it really was such a personal and special occasion!

Thank you Alex for the kind words you left for me on Google and for the beautiful thank you card and this lovely happy photograph!

Dear Yvonne, We are very sorry for the delay in getting this to you – life has been both wonderful and hectic since the 25th May in Uberlingen.  Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding so special and emotional.  It was lovely, everything we could have ever dreamed of;  you made us all, guests included, feel so at ease, and we could never have imagined having such a personal, emotional and heartwarming ceremony by a Celebrant we had only spoken to twice, on Skype!  The mix of English and German was perfect.  Our friends and family regularly tell us it was the most personal ceremony they had ever been to.  Keep up the excellent work, we had the perfect start to married life.

Nikki and John held Ceremony at The Asylum, Caroline Gardens, Peckham

Their Wedding Ceremony was perfect in every way!  Lots of storytelling, and personal vows which made everyone feel quite emotional, including me!  They were such an adorable very in love couple and their smiles lit up the chapel! This is one of the most lovely and atmospheric London wedding venues, and it has been a real joy to return with a ceremony for Nikki and Jon.  Their feedback when they sent me this photo, was so kind.

Hi Yvonne, we are finally coming back to earth with a huge bump.  Thank you so much for the day.  We have had so many lovely comments on how personal and beautiful the ceremony was.  Your calm and warm nature helped this all go smoothly.  Thank you.  Nikki and Jon.

Cecilia and Keo at Hedsor House, Taplow, Buckinghamshire

Ceci and Keo came over to leafy  from Hong Kong for their nuptials!  It was an absolutely beautiful day within Hedsor House, a venue that offers you exclusive use, and superb catering and customer service.  It was such a pleasure to create ceremony for this couple.  They asked me to include not only suprise vows, but surprise content that they wanted me to share  –  which made for a really emotional and sincere ceremony.  They loved my mention of their Plush Piggies as their “Witnesses” !  After the ceremony they had their Wedding Breakfast and later enjoyed a dazzling Firework Display – something they cannot experience in Hong Kong.  Happy Travels Ceci and Keo, with your piggies!

Margarita and Richard at Berlepsch Chapel, Berlepsch Castle, Germany

I love weddings, and  I love Castles!  So there was nothing more exciting to me than being asked to create ceremony for a couple from Florida, in the latter part of the year, in this beautiful chapel in the castle grounds.  This medieval chapel is full of charm and character, and a splendid setting for the ceremony.

Margarita and Richard were accompanied only by very close family and Richard planned a stunning surprise for his bride, – he had asked the military to allow her brother to be given leave of absence to escort his sister down the aisle!  A beautiful gesture and a wonderful happy surprise for Margarita.  They held a Unity Candle Ceremony and we asked Margarita’s mum to light and blow out the flames at the beginning and end of the ritual.  The light of love shone through the dark winter day and their joy and delight was just wonderful!

Sara and Robert at The Swan Globe Theatre, South Bank, London

I was so excited to be asked by Sara and Robert to create a Ceremony for them at the iconic Swan Globe Theatre, in the heart of London’s South Bank and near all the beautiful iconic landmarks in this beautiful city.  Leaving their warm sunny Florida home behind, they opted to have a winter wedding which was definitely warmed by their love for each other and the love that was present in the room, as they both said their personal heartfelt vows and promises to each other.  A day full of emotion and wonder, with images by Diana V Photography

It was also wonderful to receive this warm feedback from Sara afterwards:

“Thank you Yvonne- You were marvelous! Our wedding ceremony was beautiful and very personalized. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We are a non-traditional couple so we wanted something that was meaningful and spoke to our relationship without the traditional readings and moments. Yvonne didn’t disappoint. She created small details and timings for our ceremony that made it just perfect and something we will remember forever. I would recommend her for anyone looking for that special touch on your special day.”

Lisa and J.P.’s Ceremony aboard MV Maria Theresa, Passau, Bavaria

When you’re asked to perform a Wedding Ceremony on Board a beautiful River Cruiser, you just can’t refuse! 🙂  This lovely couple decided to hold their elopement Ceremony on board and to celebrate with guests and with their crew, which was done in fine style!  They decided to hold a Sand Blending Ceremony, a unity ceremony that symbolises how your love is like the grains of sand, once united, never to be separated.

It was the first Wedding that the Captain had experienced on board, and the crew really pulled out all the stops to create a wonderful backdrop, and fantastic food and bubbly for everyone on board!

Thank-you Yvonne for our most amazing ceremony! You took the time to get to know my husband and myself and wrote and presented a beautiful ceremony that was filled with love and reflected our love as a couple and all that we value. We were blessed to have you as our celebrant traveling so far to be there for our big day! Words can not express our gratitude to you for all that you did for us! You gave us a memory we will treasure forever! All our love from South Africa, Lisa & JP xxx

Melissa and Shane Ceremony at Lake Eibsee, Garmisch Patenkirchen, Bavaria

Melissa and Shane decided to hold two ceremonies, Part 1 and Part 11 – at home in the USA for their families, and then one in Germany, that was planned just for the two of them before they went on honeymoon.  It was a beautiful intimate ceremony with personal vows and storytelling, in this magical setting.  It was late September and the dew was heavy that morning but the clouds lifted in time for the ceremony, with just the three of us, and the mountain behind us – die Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak.

We had a Handfasting with specially created cords, and they drank together from a Bridal Cup – two rituals that were written especially for them, and which it was my absolute honour to create.  This intimate moment is, I am sure, one they will always cherish, as shall I.  Here is their lovely feedback on their experience eloping in the Bavarian mountains and glacial lakes – it took all our breath away!

There is no way we could possibly describe what our wedding was like for us. The location…breathtaking. We even had snow on the mountain tops because of an overnight rainstorm.

Our celebrant…who understood the need and desire for this ceremony even though we had already had one, who wrote the most heartfelt and personal things to say and did 2 beautiful traditional German wedding practices.

The photographers… Mauro and Michelle who love the outdoors I think as much as we do and saw so much beauty in the location but more importantly, saw the love between us and captured our personalities and our sense of adventure perfectly. (I got in Lake Eibsee in my wedding dress people.. it was AMAZING) In Love with a Wolf

The wedding planner…perfection. We barely had to do anything but share our vision and she made it come to life. We would not have had any of the above amazing experiences if not for her. Elvira Pross Peach Perfect Weddings

None of this would have been possible without this amazing service. Thank you!!

Alyssa and Ryan’s Ceremony at Riessersee, Garmisch Patenkirchen, Bavaria

Alyssa and Ryan flew over from Canada to hold a ceremony in some of the most stunning scenery in Germany.  On board a small raft, we floated along a beautiful glacial lake, in the sunshine and with Germany’s highest mountain, Zugspitze, in the background.  Their Ceremony was touching, emotional and so beautful, and they arranged for it to be streamed simultaneously to Canada so that guests and family who were unable to travel, could hear and see this gorgeous pair, making their vows and promises to each other, and exchange the Rings, which had been warmed and blessed by everyone present, during the Ring Warming Ceremony.

This is the lovely feedback they left for us:

Every person and every couple is unique in their own way.  Yvonne beautifully captured and portrayed our story in a way that truly represented who we are as individuals and as a couple.  Our ceremony was our very own and there will never be another like it.  Not only did we love our ceremony, our guests (23 total ) spoke about the delivery and Yvonne’s lovely personality for days after.  It was truly unforgettable.

Left on Peach Perfect :  We absolutely loved our wedding at the Riesersee and we will definitely be recommending Peach Perfect Weddings (specifically yourself!) to any of our friends who are considering getting married in Europe. Thank you for everything!

Kat and Alex at Jackson’s Lane, London

Kate and Alex had the most awewsome Ceremony planned at Jackson’s Lane, London – a venue that is perfect for dressing it yourself and giving it those personal touches!  This lovely fun and romantic couple wanted a Bilingual Ceremony so that everyone could feel included and special – and it certainly was wonderful to be able to do this for them.  Their special touches were in all the fine details, and I was truly proud and priviledged to have been asked to be their Celebrant.  Kate and Alex make their home in Sydney Australia, and so it was important for them to have their Wedding in a location that could be accessed by their European and International guests and family.

Yvonne was great, a lovely presence on the day and helpful and pleasant in the lead up. We had such a lovely day at our wedding and it was made all the better by having her lead the ceremony. The script was perfect and took into account our suggestions and stories, making it very personal.

Jane and Tom at Die Alte Gaertnerei, Tegernsee, Bavaria

A beautiful Wedding Ceremony in a stunning greenhouse nursery in Southern Germany.  A Bilingual Wedding Ceremony for Jane and Tom, who created such beautiful details for their wedding ceremony.  It was a real honour to be their Celebrant!  The Venue is Die Alte Gaertnerei am Tegernsee, and the team there created a stunning natural foliage.  We ended with the traditional German Champagne Toast!  Captured beautifully by Nadine at Herzflimmern!

Tian and Andre at the Patrick Hellmann Schlosshotel, Berlin

Tian and Andre had a beautiful wedding at the iconic Patrick Hellmann Schlosshotel in Berlin.  A stunning venue for this couple whose guests flew in from all over the world to celebrate.  I created a Bilingual Ceremony, much appreciated by family and guests.

Maria and Rav Bilingual Garden Ceremony, London

Maria and Rav held their summer wedding this year in the garden at Rav’s parents home in South London, and it was a beautiful fusion of styles, colours, music and food – Maria is originally from Germany and Rav has an Indian heritage.  We had a beautiful Rose Giving Ceremony for their mothers, followed by personally written vows and welcome and storytelling in both English and German – making it a wonderfully personal, inclusive and intimate occasion!

Chantell and Simon at The Round Chapel, Hackney, East London

This was a lovely fusion wedding ceremony, with the bride from New Zealand and her East End hubby, who both had a wonderful afternoon with their families and guests at the lovely Hackney Round Chapel.  They shared hand written vows and held a  Rose Ceremony to honour their mums, all of which made for an emotional occasion – happy tears were flowing!  Chantell was an amazingly organised and chilled bride and it was such a pleasure to help create her English Wedding Ceremony!  Her feedback afterwards was so lovely:

“Yvonne, thank you for putting together such a wonderful personalised wedding ceremony for us! You weren’t given much time (about a week if I remember rightly) to pull everything together, from chatting with us to see if we were the right fit, to writing a personalised ceremony which we wouldn’t change in a million years, even given more time. We will always think of you fondly and I have been telling a lot of people about you and what you do!I wish you every success with your business and to anyone looking for a warm, loving and caring celebrant to conduct their ceremony, I can’t recommend Yvonne enough. “

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for Tami and Sam’s Wedding Ceremony at Shotley Vineyard – both of them were excited and nervous but handled the Wine Blending Ceremony beautifully!  We had a ceremony in both English and German to include both family and friends, and their heritage.  Tami later wrote to me:

” Thank you so much again for the wonderful ceremony, you made our day really special and the way you performed the ceremony was just perfect. We’ve had so many positive comments from our family and friends, both English and German – it felt very personal and was exactly how we imagined our wedding to be like.”

Hello Yvonne, thank you putting our story into a really wonderful ceremony for us.  We are really excited about our special day on Saturday.    Thanks again.  Jenny and Mark

I conducted the ceremony in front of a herd of 30 bulls and cows at Hugletts Animal Sanctuary in East Sussex.  They were so curious about me and what I was doing in their field we have some rather fun pictures of this day!  Who knew they love GingerNut biscuits!!

A lovely warm ceremony blending two faiths in a creative and respectful yet romantic story.  I presented the family with a beautifully printed script of their wedding and vows as a keepsake.

Yvonne, we had a really fantastic day.  Thank you so much for making it special for us.    Seema and Paul

A beautiful Naming Ceremony for a lovely family!  I was overjoyed to receive their wonderful comments!

Hi Yvonne, I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for all the services you provided for Ruby’s Naming Day on Sunday 7th August.  We all really enjoyed the day.

The ceremony felt really personal and the words you provided were lovely.  The tone of the ceremony was perfect – a serious occasion, which didn’t feel too formal.

Many of our guests commented on what a lovely ceremony it was and how nice and personable you were.

Thanks again,

S and L K
